    HI, i just got my first e46 2002 325i automatic, my first job on it is a exhaust valve reolacement since a do not have compression on cyl 3 what do you think about this job, any advice...i will do all work myself, and use your videos for my work, you are a great help

      There's possibly the chance that you could have an oil return issue for that cylinder where your car may be running rich and getting too much fuel and it's flushing away the oil in that cylinder causing your compression issue or it could even be a head gasket issue. Does it have some compression or zero compression? If it still has some compression then it could be bad spark plugs on top of a leaky valve cover gasket. You'll have to do more diagnosing to know for sure.

    Dang! The inside of your engine is clean! How many miles & how often do you change your oil? I know one thing for sure, it ISN'T dealer maintained.

      Car has 53K miles. I was changing oil once a year because car was rarely driven (2K miles) while I made repairs. Now it's my daily driver so I'll be changing oil every 5K miles.
