INDIAN INSPIRED CURRY ROCKFISH AND INDIAN KACHUMBER SALAD COOKING AND EATING

- This Indian inspired dish was absolutely delicious! Curry rockfish and kachumber salad recipe!

Ingredients:
Indian Kachumber Salad:
1 extra lg cucumber
1/2 cup tomatoes (i used cherry tomatoes)
1/3 cup red onion
1/3 cup cilantro
juice of 1 lime
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
*taste and adjust
Indian inspired Curry Rockfish:
2 1/4 lb rock fish (or fish of choice ; a firm fish is recommended)
1/2 small red onion
1/2 small yellow onion
2-3 green onion
cornstarch and flour (equal parts)
garlic powder
kosher salt
pepper
curry powder'
ground turmeric
Italian seasoning (( I used this instead of adding all of the herbs separate)
Oil of choice (i used vegetable)
2 cups water
Indian green chili (found at my local Indian food market)
*taste and adjust
*Only add enough oil to cover the bottom of your pan (then add a little more to brown the fish)
*Yes, this is a heavily oily dish. That's how my Indian brothers and sisters like it!
*You don't need 3 types of onion. The video I saw on Mark Weins, they only used shallots.
*No measurements. I used the lids of my seasonings
*dice some of the chili and add while cooking to add spice (it wasn't spicy at all just tossing them in there whole)

Hi my lady. This looks simply Devine. I've never tried rock fish. I do know about the cucumber salad though. I normally use Italian dressing instead of lime juice, but I'm gone try the lime juice. Thank you for sharing yourself and your talent. Beautiful! I want this meal forreal! 😋
