    Hi dude. I'm from England, lots of MGB cars on the roads here. You do know there is a wide body kit for this car. Originally the car was an MG Sebring, had a large engine and wide body kit. You can source these easily. I know you like building your own, but check out the sebring kit if you haven't already. Great channel though 👍🏻

    I used to be a fibreglass laminator, if you've used epoxy to seal the plug, you don't need PVA, you would be better with about seven coats of wax, and don't buff the last coat of wax off, it'll separate easier.
    And I would have applied a thicker gel coat, but what you've got will be perfectly good enough.
    Honey wax works the best in my experience.

    When it comes to propane heaters, they're actually really safe as long as you don't knock them over. I used to work at a propane heated shop, never had any breathing problems or anything. If you're concerned about it you can install a Carbon Monoxide detector into your garage for extra safety, but I worked in that shop for 8 months, wasn't ever an issue

    If you have cold ambient and one random piece(s), put some small electric heater below the piece and plastic over the piece. Or two layers of plastic, or three.

    I've had some carpal tunnel and did a bit of online looking and sleeping with the wrist guard is a real big help. Did it for 2 weeks straight and now only need to do it one night when wrist starts to play up again

    I set my cheaper/ thicker resin in a pot of hot water before I'm going to use it.... helps thin/ loosen how it flows!

    Awesome job dude! That would have been a massive amount of work to do. I helped make 3 fibreglass canoes years ago, it was effort, and they only have simple shapes and it doesn't matter about the finish as long as it keeps water out.
    So yeah, lots of respect to you!
    (Also thanks for converting the temp from F to C for some of us)

      @@BUILTOFFICIAL why not use a honda engine? Small, light, readily available, relatively easy to work on, good cheap parts, can make a lot of power with a turbo, and the most important of all VTEC

      It would envolve quite a bit of fabrication to fit a boxer motor. It would definitely lower the center of gravity though

      @@Pandadancypant this is the way to go s2000 swap is really easy in an mg b you just need custom mounts and modify the front crossmember to clear the sump tge rest is just ecu and loom then boom 220bhp in an mg which is perfect then boost if you can handle it 😈

    You have already done these parts but o would suggest to use a little bit off heat when removing the parts from the mold, just to soften the vaseline 🤷‍♂️👌🏻, love the build by the way🔥🔥🔥🔥

    Love the work your doing. Turning out great. In my opinion the squareness of the main section of front bumper is a tad bit blocky and I would round it off a bit. But it’s not my build so keep on keeping on my dude. Love your builds.

    Nsxt mold blanck every hole and wax any corner and bend and put flanges on it it will help to not destroy or dammage original mold

      If you have "man" hands it doesnt bother you.. like calisted hands from working on cars, climbing, swinging hammers.. basically just use your hands alot.. but if you have soft hands from working on a computer all day or something then its gonna be a problem for ya.. but that's prob how it doesnt bother him, same with hot stuff you really dont feel it that much until it's stupid hot... just saying

      Thanks man! I'm stoked on the look too! I'm going to have to save up a bit for the swap on this one so once the kit gets done on this car I'm going to swap over to the datsun wide body kit to save some money up for the engine swap in the mg. I'll also be working on the overland truck during that time as well. We HAVE been working on the datsun in the background but it's been boring stuff to watch. The wiring harness is done, the brake lines are almost done, we are redoing the fuel system, and the bed is back on

    ur good broski...... it's propane.... it burns fairly clean.... I've run them in a house b4(no heat available atm) u should be completely fine.

    There’s no danger using that propane heater. We use one in my house when it gets cold. You’re fine sitting next to it for hours

    Just put a carbon monoxide detector in there and you’ll be fine using the heater if it doesnt sound the alarm

    Try Aluminum tape. Much stronger
