Damn Kaleb, you've come so far since the first built Video that I saw (mr2 ferrari diffuser) which was also dope. But it totally baffles me how much progress you have made as a builder and it's been amazing to see it happen over the years. Loving this project. These are the videos I look forward to all week. Keep it up!
man i cant wait till you blow up even more than you have, you deserve so much more attention and i hope in the future you have your own shop and even better equipment. This is the type of stuff people are going to remember you for. Its very inspiring and creative. Your name will be up there with the greats one day i swear to you. Your builds belong at SEMA
It wouldnt crack if you use shortstrand. Thats what we use in the collision industry. Doesnt shrink and extremely hard to crack if just driving. I recommend you grind down the fenders and mold em.🙂
Soooo, I'm with the little man, Floral Livery for the win. Also if you do decide to go no bumper, colour matching the wheel colour on the tube front would look cool. By farrrrr my favourite build right now
I love that you keep all the stuff with your sons! They always bring a smile to my face And make me think of my son! This build is going to be one for the books!!
I love how you could see the excitement when you carried that wing over to put it on... I love these series along with a few other youtubers and it's giving me the courage to start doing things on my own more and more
As a furniture restorer, I'm always looking for new techniques for tasks. Painting, sanding, etc. Learned a trick for tight spots with the paint mixing stick. thanks for that my dude!
I love the content and I'm learning so much! Especially since I'm about to work on a front bumper of my own for my S2000! Thank you! If I had a point of criticism, I am not a fan of the boso style extended wing. the rest of the car is pretty lowkey and stealthy so the tall wing sticks out like a sore thumb, I think the more traditional RWB style GT wing top works better for this car!
It’s really starting to come together now. I really dig the way it looks in the satin black too. I have a suggestion for when you do the final bodywork. Do it one panel at a time. Perfect that panel before moving onto the next and so on... Then do a few more coats of high build primer, guide coat it, block it and then spray your final finish. Good luck 🤙
Looking sick! I’m not sold on the multi level wing, I was more of a fan of the whale tail, but keep doing what you want to. It’ll all come together well I’m sure!
Wow. This car looks amazing. I last watched your videos when you were building the mr2 and I come back and see your bodywork skills have improved massively. I work in a body shop myself but I’m 17 so I’m slowly learning this. Can’t wait to do stuff like this in the future. (Currently I just scotch cars, sand them, wash and wax them and sometimes paint wheels but I’m hoping I will be able to do stuff like this soon
The build looks awesome so far! It's gonna be amazing when the rest of the bodykit is completed. I think the sideskirts and the rear bumper will make the wing look less out of place for sure!
It's amazing how at the beginning when you see the car and you're like "omg... how can anything cool come from this mess", and then once again, you nail it. Good job man.
The primer is Evercoat G2 Featherfill you can get it from Eastwood. For all your fans who may want to know. It's a filler primer that you put on very heavy. Then you block out the car. Watching you spray it on you sprayed it too thin. It's a spray on body filler. You should do 2 heavy coats letting it flash in between. You need a bigger tip on your spraygun. If you can't get a bigger tip for your Harbor Freight gun then drill out a smaller tip. Also if you use short hair fiberglass resin to smooth the fender flairs into the body It's not going to Crack as long as the transition is thick over the flair to metal area.
Love the SUBSCRIBE written in the dust on the windshield. EVERYONE needs to subscribe to this amazing channel - how else will they know the importance of hot glue and flowers?!? Seriously, best channel out here!
Honestly coming together nicely man. Looks so much better than the first coat of primer. One tip, when you're spraying, try going in longer sections. You really don't want to stop spraying until you're off the panel. When you're doing the side, spray the entire side of the car in one pass. It will make your finish paint look WAY better. The more you start and stop the spray, the more chance for imperfections or poor coverage. Looks like you're making good progress though man. Glad you didn't give up!
Looks awesome! That flat black looks pretty sick on case u want to skip a few steps later... just enjoy it for a bit. I think a metal bar rear diffuser/bumper painted to match the rims, front spoiler and hopefully metal wing structure would be neat... that way You can do Jeckle and Hyde by removing the fiberglass coverings for a wildly different look
Whose it the crazy wide-wheeled truck in the background at the end? That thing is dope. As are all of your builds. Love that the Datsun is back in the mix. Chur bro.
Also can I recommend the crossflow head, new performance cam, 20% uprated springs, bore 4 over and a good monza exhaust. Get the lifters and rockers too... youll have to modify but FI plus turbo with all of said mods can push 180-240hp
I did the same using panel bond with my widebody and i agree that molding had a chance to crack. Mine's molded and it's been a 1 year and luckily hasnt cracked. Keep up the great work!
I have an MG Midget convertible. I've been playing with the idea of shoehorning a Jeep Liberty I have just sitting in my personal junkyard under it The widebody 4WD Rally-ish MG that never was..... is an intresting *idea* to me personally. Do-able. 🤷♂️ But definitely would be different and fun IMO with the junk I already own. To create traditionally what a "Hot Rod" was to begin with the returning G.I.s of WWII era. [USA- other countries of the mutal era contemporaries vary and usually it's a CC's focused build.] Making something different is cool regardless of styles besides my preference IMO and love meeting people. So mybe see ya at a car show someday. Best wishes in life to you and yours from Central Texas. 🙋♂️
Its being amazing watching this process. I feel like i have learned quite a bit. Itz honestly otherworldly looking! I have a lancer but I think I wanna widebody my s10. Nothing less than inspirational. Phenomenal workmanship! Can't wait to see more.
loving the style - really think that the spoiler being a little more duck tail and less airfoil would be be clean - however i will wait and see and its your build.... not mine... just enjoying the process
Looking so freaking good man. Going black on the paint is going to be rough, every scratch, dent and bump shows on black, worse with matte. If you want it to come out any better than a 10 footer it's going to take a boatload of sanding, filling and prep. Take your time and really get into it :)
Honestly, I don't like this huge shelf looking wing, I think it would look way better with just the trunk wing. Otherwise, I really love everything about this build, awesome dude
Looks absolutely awesome. I like your approach here, drive it in primer and take your time fixing all of the areas your eyes see. One suggestion, carry the body line a little farther into each over fender a bit more prominently. Otherwise, top notch!
I like how you can really see all the imperfections with the black primer! I just hope you really take your time with this one.. fuck UA-cam and their deadlines.. you have something here... don’t let up and keep up the attention to detail and bring it home!! Still can’t get onboard with that wing lol but I still dig the content!
Holyyyyy crappp, when it started rolling after you started, it just put it in to perspective how absolutely amazing it looks, this is such a cool and good looking build, your channel makes me want to try this kind of stuff more than i already wanted too, but i dont have the space or the money for it yet😂
Well done being able to get work done with a couple of sons running around, especially when one seems to be trying to sabotage the project by hot glueing flowers all over the MG lol
It's not perfect. It isn't a 200k SEMA build and it isn't 1000hp. And you know what? It is freaking badass. YOU built it, following nothing but the ideas in your head and putting forth the graft to get it done. Congrats man. It's gonna be awesome. I wore my built MR2 t shirt at a track day in NC this weekend and a few people asked. Hopefully you'll pick up another few subs!
It's took me wayyy too long to get round to watching this, but oh man was it worth the wait. Even at this stage the car looks sooo good. Great work dude such an inspiring build to me really enjoyed watching bthe progress so far keep up the great work dude 😃
Hi loving the build. One question will you be addressing the cuts on the arches and the holes. Being a British sports car it will rot terribly. Apart from that keep up with the amazing work.
Looks good dude! I saw some people down below say drop a 5.0 in it and that would be seriously cool and easy. A 5.0 with the trans out of an explorer or mustang is actually pretty cheap and if you want you get the 8.8 while you're at it. Another idea would be a vw diesel? Imagine seeing this and spewing smoke out hearing a nice turbo with it too, it's already a head turner but just imagine
The way it looks in 26:35 makes it so clear in my mind that this car would've looked as amazing even if it went the complete opposite direction. No spoiler, no classic lights, no rear bumper. Could be similar to those Lamborghini tuned cars without rear bumper showing off massive exhaust pipes.
Yeah dad, get the flowers so you can hot glue them to the car... Dont you know that makes them even cooler?!?. I love the randomness of kids, so funny xD
Keep doing what you’re doing man. We know how much work truly goes into your videos, and we appreciate the consistently awesome videos!
Thanks Malachi!
Damn Kaleb, you've come so far since the first built Video that I saw (mr2 ferrari diffuser) which was also dope. But it totally baffles me how much progress you have made as a builder and it's been amazing to see it happen over the years. Loving this project. These are the videos I look forward to all week. Your ability to recreate that render is just amazing! Most underrated car builder on UA-cam. Can’t wait to see what else you accomplish!
man i cant wait till you blow up even more than you have, you deserve so much more attention and i hope in the future you have your own shop and even better equipment. You heard the man. Hot glue the flowers
haha kids got style
Soooo, I'm with the little man, Floral Livery for the win. Also if you do decide to go no bumper, colour matching the wheel colour on the tube front would look cool. By farrrrr my favourite build right now
🤣🤣🤣🌷🌷🌷
Absolute best time to open youtube
You're on top of it dude!
Yay! A new BUILT video for my Saturday! All this time I didn’t realize the importance of hot glue and flowers 🌸 🌺 💐 😂😂😂
so excited for this one
21:28
When Momma comes and wants to scare the shit out of her firstborn. 😂😂😂
not gunna lie i think it would look sooooooo good wingless
Or with a flat whale style wing. I don't like the big bosozoku style wing
I 100% agree, flat wing or a little ducktail but the big wing is just a bit much
I agree, or with maybe a small duck bill wing instead.
One thing I like about built official is that the videos continue from the last plus the kids I really love that!!!
I love that you keep all the stuff with your sons! They always bring a smile to my face And make me think of my son! This build is going to be one for the books!!
I love how you could see the excitement when you carried that wing over to put it on... I love these series along with a few other youtubers and it's giving me the courage to start doing things on my own more and more
Keep at it dude, it looks awesome. And we all know that these type of projects take a lot of work and time.
MGB = Magnolias & Glue Build. Lil man is ahead of the game!
you could easily make a fortune making molds of the panels to sell. I love what you're doing!
Yo that first sanding shot was so cool I had to like!
Wow, great job. It’s really coming together and looks awesome! Can’t wait to see the MG and Porsche side by side!
As a furniture restorer, I'm always looking for new techniques for tasks. Painting, sanding, etc. Learned a trick for tight spots with the paint mixing stick. thanks for that my dude!

That wing makes a Cosworth Whaletail look modest.
Makes a Plymouth Superbird wing look modest
I started doing some diy's to my car because of this guy , keep inspiring people man!
Congratulations my guy the car realy came a long way, after all the great work you put in. Keep moving forward!

Man. Props to you being able to build such a project while having two young sons lol.
True man. I can’t do anything with one daughter smh
The benefits of having a great wife, I hope he knows how lucky he is! I talk from experience as a now single father lol
I wish I would have been this patient with my kids. Not sure if I could have.
Like nobody can do anything if they have kids. wow must ridiculous comment ever
This’ll look so good when it’s finished! Awesome work man!
This is just what i need today.
I've got you!
Me too!
Same!!! Best part of the day!
Looking sick! I’m not sold on the multi level wing, I was more of a fan of the whale tail, but keep doing what you want to. It’ll all come together well I’m sure!

You're such an inspiration. I would love to do this full time
Great job man! I want to work on my cars after this video now. 😁

man your bodywork has leveled up so much since i watched you do the mr2
As usual, watching your build videos motivates me to work on my car. We have nice weather tomorrow on Long Island NY....so I'll get some work done 👍🏾
Love this project, its gonna look so dope and your boys are legends
Love the SUBSCRIBE written in the dust on the windshield. EVERYONE needs to subscribe to this amazing channel - how else will they know the importance of hot glue and flowers?!? Seriously, best channel out here!
A built video is always a great way to start my weekend!
u could even do a 13b rotary swap too... it'd be a lil pricey but super dope an jus as unique as ur build
when he pulled the car out, oof this this is AMAZING
I was so happy to see that this video was over half an hour long!!
The flower power mg hmmm weridly seems like a gd idea😂
Honestly coming together nicely man. Looks so much better than the first coat of primer. One tip, when you're spraying, try going in longer sections. Congratulations, I think this is a major step foward on the build. I really liking this update.
Your boys crack me up 😂. Love seeing them in the videos
As a mgb owner I'm excited for the swap . Can't wait to see what goes in. Fingers crossed for 302
Yes 5.0 ALL.DAY!
Your work always comes out so good! So glad you took us on this journey. What a rad car! 👀
A smaller wing to cover the support bar would be dope.
Want t to see it at a car meet when its done
Planning on going to a few on a road trip
you are giving us a glimpse to how RWD and others started. I see a lot of potential here for a cool wide body style! keep at it!
Dich the wing and put some support on the front bash bar. Some tubing on the front bar would make it safer and look more aggressive and stronger 💪
He is a man of focus , commitment ,and sheer fookin will
Definitely the coolest car I saw today, That's rad man! can't wait to the mechanical part of the build.
Man those wheels might have to try build my own , remember "done working time flowers and hot glue" 😂😂💯
OMG, that work.. Again and again sand, bodywork etc... Keep going... Love car\family vidoes!
Whose it the crazy wide-wheeled truck in the background at the end? That thing is dope. As are all of your builds. Love that the Datsun is back in the mix. Chur bro.
Dude the wing is total no no, everything else in that car... DOPE.
Looks like it'll turn out really good when its finished. Buy some better sanding blocks it'll help level out the body work. Keep up the good work.
Also can I recommend the crossflow head, new performance cam, 20% uprated springs, bore 4 over and a good monza exhaust. Get the lifters and rockers too... youll have to modify but FI plus turbo with all of said mods can push 180-240hp

Love the outcome so far my man. Keep on doing what you are doing. Cannot wait for engine videos.
Favorite channel on UA-cam👍🏻
Honestly, I don't like this huge shelf looking wing, I think it would look way better with just the trunk wing.

You deserve so many more subs man..
Somebody once told me that a sponge makes a great sanding block , for tight or curvy spaces.
Figured it might help u out :)
Love that it's not bolted on fenders. Always thought that it looked a bit shoddy that way.
The car looks amazing dude can’t wait to see it all finished I wonder what MR AKIRA NAkai would say 👍
I look forward to every time you upload. Always the highlight of my day!
killen it on the dad game hell yea keep up the hard work
Holyyyyy crappp, when it started rolling after you started, it just put it in to perspective how absolutely amazing it looks, this is such a cool and good looking build, your channel makes me want to try this kind of stuff more than i already wanted too, but i dont have the space or the money for it yet😂
Not too crazy about the rear wing but it's your car so go for it. I love the whole concept.
That was so slick with the subscribe in the window
Big NO for spoiler, rest of car is great.
Why did I get excited for the sponsor? Congrats man
is there a way to remove the old silver window surround and maybe bond the glass panels in. I cant get passed the old British 70's brightwork.
What kind of epoxy or what was that you were using to join the panels?
honestly I wouldn't even paint it i would leave it like that it looks so dope primered black
Well done being able to get work done with a couple of sons running around, especially when one seems to be trying to sabotage the project by hot glueing flowers all over the MG lol

Missed these videos. Keep up the good work.
This car looks so sick, wing and everything
It's took me wayyy too long to get round to watching this, but oh man was it worth the wait. Even at this stage the car looks sooo good. Great work dude such an inspiring build to me really enjoyed watching bthe progress so far keep up the great work dude 😃
good job man been following your progress for awhile and that car is really starting to become something freaking awesom
Dope build bro! You're so motivating
You should put a garden on that wing as a tribute to your son. Hot glue flowers babeeeeey *austin powers voice*
more likes for this man and his endeavors.. you a real 1 my boy 💯
I've always hated these cars, being a Brit it took an American to make me actually like it, will always be one of my favorite UA-camrs
Hi loving the build. One question will you be addressing the cuts on the arches and the holes. Being a British sports car it will rot terribly. Apart from that keep up with the amazing work.

Should do some BUILT brand tire lettering @built
Yeah dad, get the flowers so you can hot glue them to the car... Dont you know that makes them even cooler?!?.
