Managed to snag a TOF box this go round and I am pretty chuffed! My first VP rig and first of their mystery boxes. Got a Stance RTR and a lot of option parts to go with it. 🎉‼
I'm also a sucker for ToF and have never been let down. In four boxes I've gotten 2x Pros, the Falken Phoenix Portal and this go-round was an H10. Pretty chuffed all told.
I wonder how hard it would be to fit you in the Redcat Hauler. Also thanks to the ceiling fan and PC fans in my office, I didn't hear the printer at all.
I mean I got tools in my TOF. I would have much preferred truck parts. I own so many tools... I never need more. I work with tools. I owe the Snap on Truck tool money, Tools just kinda seems like a weird choice for something that is most likely not being purchased by someone new to this hobby. Otherwise I loved my TOF box I got the Optic in blue, purple riots with silver IFR rings, and machined UD gears(that will never go in my Optic its supposed to be fast...ish but i can use them in other trucks.) Pumped you got what you wanted, TOF is like adult Christmas and I hope VP doesn't stop running these promotions. One new mystery box each year for me is always fun. Thanks as always Matt!
I love the mystery boxes too! You never know what you're going to get and it's not always going to be something you need, but there's always good value!
Dumb question about drifting, why the free-rolling front tyres aren't grippy rubber? 2 speed seems weird for the monster truck, is there ever need for that to go slow? What I'm thinking about is lowering the high trail and then raise back up with the portals.
Would have too much front grip if the front tyres were rubber, still need the fronts to slide a bit to be able to maintain a drift 😊 would just pivot around on the fronts otherwise
He should really be excluded from being eligible because of how many regular customers are trying for them and the fact once he gets one he’s obviously privileged and whatever he gets will be rightfully accused of special treatment.

But seeing the dozens probably 100 or more of people thatve been trying to get a tof order in and seeing you got one comes off as more than suspicious. For integrity you probably shouldn’t have made an order even if it was legitimate or at a minimum advertised that you got one in. At a minimum people would be led to think you got an order in because of your status and at maximum people would think you’d got an order in reserved and a special box because of your position.
No, it’s all wrong. You built it upside down and backwards 😂 Can’t wait to see the animated figure in the jeep. It’s sized kinda oddly so fitting a figure is a little difficult so the Knights Customs interior should be a big upgrade.

the notch in the C frame tells me Traxxas did the 2 speed afer on purpose to milk more money out of the consumer it should of been in it out the gate. the more i deal with traxxas RC's the more i feel like they are a shady company and the less i want to support them
That was the idea to sell them cheapish and make up money on the aftermarket hence why they didn't like the fact that other people made aftermarket parts, I keep saying they are missing a S (TRAXXASS)
The drift car needs some action figures and a sidewalk for you to drive it on.

Front tires need to slide just as much for the drift to work.
I've done the TOF every time Vanquish has offered, such a great value. My wallet definitely needs time to recover though
