These are some of my favorite fougere fragrances that if you haven’t tried yet I strongly recommend you do: 1-Loewe por Homme. 2- Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. 3-Agua Brava from Antonio Puig.
Maison Margiela's Replica: At the Barber's is fantastic. Jazz Club and By the Fireplace gets most of the hype from Maison Margiela's Replica line, but At the Barber's is even better in my opinion.
Speaking of fougeres, Tom Ford's Beau de Jour which was a private blend just got released as a signature fragrance. It will likely retail at a much lower price point similar to Ombre Leather when it was re-lauched as part of the signature line. Exciting news to any fans of fougere fragrances.
Platinum Egoist!! When i was teenager my dad used to wear it all the time of course my mom wears No.5 she told she wants to get that huge $2000 i think it was almost 1.5 or 2L bottle 😳i never understood... anyways now P.E is my favorite even i have around 30 colognes it always remind me my dad..😬
Another great honorable mention could've been Armaf Legesi. A fantastic alternative to Chanel Platinum Egoiste, for a fraction of the price. What about: Davidoff Zino Grey Flannel Alfred Sung Homme All great barbershop scents at great prices AND (don't laugh!) All-time classics: Brut Splash On Old Spice Clubman Pinaud Timeless classics worn by fathers and grandfathers
TF Beau de Jour (Signature line) is really excellent. It's on a level with the other TF fougeres in the Private Blend line and was originally in the Private Blend line. BTJ has outstanding performance. Very long lasting.
Great review Dallas! I'm really not into fougere fragrances, just not really my style. However, I would have to say I may have only one fragrance in my collection that has a fougere vibe which is Dunhill Icon. I do have to admit I enjoy that fragrance and I usually wear it to the office. Great neroli and lavender notes but with that bergamot fresh opening. It's definitely a more mature, classy but yet modern fragrance. If you've never smelled it, you should check it out. A hidden gem imho. Love from Costa Rica! ✌🏽
I'm on the search for a new aromatic fougere(barbershop scent) I have Brut, Paco Rabanne Pour Homme, and Drakkar Noir. Any suggestions? Thanks for the video.

Great video Dallas! I have a quick question, do you have MFKs Amyris, and if so what do you think about it? Personally I love it but I’ve seen it doesn’t get much love so I’m curious what’s ur opinion.. Thanks for the content!
Dallas, I'm really enjoying your content lately. I wasn't a huge Barbershop fougere fragrance guy, until I suddenly was. I developed an appreciation for them organically as well. With that said... have you ever sampled....Herrara for Men by Carolina Herrara? Admittingly I do not know it if was ever reformulated or not, but Its one of those fragrances that gets overlooked, especially by younger people in the way Chanel Platinum Egoiste still does. It is a fragrance that changes after the initial spray and the dry down always gets me compliments whenever I do reach for it. This is the same reaction I get when I wear Platinum Egoiste, but they don't smell anything alike. Check it out when you get a chance, it may surprise you in a way that Platinum Egoiste did.
Love barbershop and Fougere. Fine American Blend EDT is a classic barbershop scent. Powdery and just a homage to old time barbershops. Thanks for the video!
Hey Dallas, great video as usual. I am surprised you did not include Eau Sauvage in the list. I've heard good things about it. Your thoughts on it please?
I didn't think I would be a fougere guy myself but bought Chanel Platinum Egoiste just before Christmas and loved it. Looking into Tom Ford Beau de Jour and Stranger Parfumerie Wicked John, as well as trying to find an oriental fougere.
Great review. I would for sure add MMM At the Barbers ❤ and the old school classic Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche ❤. Appreciate your insight as always. 👍✌🙏
Great List! I've yet to been able to add these to my collection, but some are on my list. Meanwhile I really am enjoying these from my collection: Amouage Bracken Man, Histories de Parfums 1725, Houbigant Fougere Royale, Penhaligon's Sartorial, and Creed Bois du Portugal
“Barbershop” by Happyland Studios, John Varvatos Artisan Blu and Salvatore Ferragamo Ezzenziale Colonia. The best thing about Happyland is it’s Parfum Extrait...very potent and long lasting.
@@ChaosFragrances Penhaligon Sartorial and Maison Margiela's At The Barbers.... its a SIN not to include these 2 on on your fougere list 💪🏼 fans are waiting to get your hands for a review

Enjoyed this review. This is a genre that has been inching up in my rotation as well. Scandal has a ridiculously smooth transition thru its notes. It is perfection. Have you tried Lippizan by PdM or Dapper 1959 by Alexandria Fragrances (original creation)? Worth checking out.
Was looking for that video since I asked for a non blue fragrances video! Please do Platinum Chanel Egoiste vs Chanel Egoiste! BTW I had unsubscribed from Jeremy channel one year ago since I watched CF for few times ever since.
My most favorite Fougère is "English Fern" but unfortunately Penhaligon's has discontinued it at the moment! If you are familiar with it and miss it, please feel free to send Penhaligon's an email requesting them to return "English Fern" to their collection!
Paco Rabanne Pour Homme which has been around since the early 1970s, and it didn't even get on the list? You're a little bit bit clueless there my friend. No disrespect just saying.
Fougere lovers should check out both Sol Sadono white and black. Absolute powerhouses that have somehow kept their intensity and run laps around most modern fragrances. Terrible bottles, but who cares.

I enjoy Penhaligon's Sartorial and Histories de Parfum 1725 quite a bit, and At the Barber's by Maison Martin Margiela has grown on me.
Sartorial is an absolute masterpiece! Great choices mate
I love Azzaro Pour Homme and Replica At the Barber's; Zaharoff Signature also has a fougere vibe and is amazing.

How's the performance on 'at the barbers'? Been wanting to pull the trigger but not enough solid reviews out.
