    “Telescopic Shocks” 🤯 Game changers

      Yep! Instant lift if that’s what you need for your terrain. They work really well. I used a trick to lower it last night, even though I’ve really been enjoying the height to clear the bumpers. Hope to try it out this evening and show you guys what I did. Hope you have a great day, bro!

    Back watching again, just pull the trigger on the new axial bronco. Just love watching crawler videos and yours is one of the best. I can’t wait to get my new red bronco

      I’m debating letting the characters go. It’s dragging on so long. I can still work them in or whatever but I intended to rollout Bella bronco’s upgrades and mods through the characters. Was trying to build a shop set. Just got the injora 050 pro for her and the axle housings will be here tomorrow. I can’t believe I have a practically brand new car with $250 of parts just sitting on the table.

    Right on love my gladiator, I have the tan color one, only thing it really needs out of the box straight up is steering servo, and like you said just a little weight in the front and you have hours of fun hundred percent guaranteed yeah, this is the beauty of this hobby

      Yep! Did that! Made them softer. They’re breaking in nicely. They’re still not patagonias but they work pretty well and just keep getting better. I’ll spray them down again tonight. Pro’ly should mention that in a video. Thanks for the comment! Hope you have a great day!

    "Injorazon" Glady!
    I like the Injora stuff and it's one of the few brands you can get on Amazon Canada. But we get smashed in the face with import duties and taxes added to the price. And on top of that, it's coming from China so takes 1.5-2 months to arrive!!! Wish they'd stock more stuff in the Canadian Amz fulfillment centers!
    Rant over! LOL!

    • @texomarc
      @texomarc  2 роки тому

      Wow! I didn’t know that. Even if I order direct from Injora, at most it’s going to take like 4 weeks. When I order off of Amazon prime, depending on where it’s coming from, it’s usually 1-3 days, and only more if it’s out of stock. The injora stuff is a great value, at least here in the states. What’s something that you guys can get reasonably? Maybe I could promote it?

    Regarding the shocks binding. Just use the rubber ring on the outside on shock screw. Then they more Freely:) or only mount the rubber ring on the inside and no one on outside . The pivot balls are bigger at one end . That end should be on the outside :)

    • @texomarc
      @texomarc  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for the suggestion. I’m sure what you’re saying works just as well but I didn’t want any slop, so I didn’t try it. I ended up using longer screws and two of the o-rings as spacers and backed the screw off as described until it worked. I’ll have to do a short just on that. They work awesome, now.

      @texomarc  2 роки тому

      Man! You’re awesome! I will be putting the bigger 60mm super swampers on to at least test it out. It just depends on the terrain. Where I shot the video, big tires and high clearance is going to be helpful 80% of the time. At the other popular spot on my channel, it might only be a benefit 10% and worse off the rest of the time. Thanks again!

    Great vid man! and what would you get first, the high clearance links or the shocks?

    • @texomarc
      @texomarc  2 роки тому +1

      For me, I went with the links because it’s an immediate help over ledges and the place I was driving mostly doesn’t benefit near as much from having a taller vehicle. All depends on terrain and plan for the vehicle.

    Name suggestions "little Spartan"
    I think some of the fitment issues come from when they plate / paint some parts. They don't take that into account when machining.

    Nice video, still haven't found good shocks myself. No better than stock , and longer ones just make your truck perform worse

    • @texomarc
      @texomarc  2 роки тому

      These shocks work great after a little attention. As to performance, that would be solely terrain based but you’re right, flat plane, high traction surface test will show that a lower rig with little flex and smaller tires will do better climbing, side-hilling and decline. However, that’s not usually enough to keep up at Shawnee Creek Scale OHV park. Hope you have a great day!

      I’ve heard decent things about the Hot Racing oil emulsion shocks. I dunno if it’s possible to have an oil filled shock at this scale function as smooth as it needs to without leaking. We can still hold out hope. These and most of the rest really aren’t shocks because they have no dampening, I agree. They are working very smoothly, though.
