IT IS HUGE! The Axial SCX10 3 Jeep JT Gladiator, with its extended frame rails and links offers a different driving experience than the shorter version. A whopping 13.9 inch wheelbase will make this a climbing beast, and the dig option can help you squeeze those long frame rails around tight corners. I can not emphasize enough how incredible this truck is. A tribute to all that has come before, and a blueprint for everything from here on forward.
The list of specs and features is seemingly endless: dig, portal axles, off center front pumpkin, all metal gears and the most detailed lexan body with accessories that's available on the market at this point in time. Full drop bed too!

You can buy portal boxes for full size Jeeps, they cost nearly as much as the Jeep but they are out there. I have only seen one full size Jeep with them though.
It’s definitely a more hardcore modification!

Rear is a tiny bit shorter than the full sized one, but I see that being a well made sacrifice. 😊

This thing is soooooo overpriced at my local hobby shop they want 599$ for it lmao. With the 2 speed transmission not hooked up and a buggy messed up dig, I would already have a scx10III if it weren't so insanely overpriced.
I think MAP is like 519 on the Gladiator, and the kit for the short version starts at 369. Which I think it totally reasonable seeing how advanced it is in engineering. Thank you for watching!

The 13.9 inch wheelbase is too big. This monster gets high centered on things that my normal SCX10III just hops over. This is a cool machine, don't get me wrong, but the extra length takes away from its capabilities as far as I'm concerned.
That is such a GREAT looking rig. Im about fed up with all the Jeeps that are on the market but that Jeep, I would LOVE to jave in my collection. :)

AWESOMENESS!!! I thought the TRX4 Defender 110 had a decent amount of wheel base at 12.8". But this 13.9" is totally awesome!!! Limousine worthy!!! But that Dig unit is worth its weight in gold!!!!!

I've had mine for a few days now and find it supremely capable (up against a TRX4 Defender) if not a little top heavy. Vitavon portal covers help. I love mine and am now a massive Axial convert, look forward to your thoughts and progress with this on Chris
That sounds promising! I’m thinking some aluminum bead locks will put the weight where I want it. Looking forward for rock rash. 😁
I’ve ordered some Ottsix Baby Faces from the States with no extra brass so should keep the weight down overall. I’ve already turned mine over a few times and the scratches on the beautiful new body are hard to accept 🥴
Once they fix the dig and actually include the 2speed transmission on the RTR I'm jumping all over it. Until then I'll wait, and a 3 channel transmitter when 4 is needed for the insane price they are asking really turned me off this rig.
Pancouver venguins The dig works pretty well and the trans is 2 speed ready with only a small plastic collar needing removals and the sx107 servo installing, all pretty straight forward 👍🏼 agree about the radio though!

Why they introduced such a capable machine with that radio I have no idea. You would think it would have come with a radio system that would control every feature the truck is capable of. They really dropped the ball with this, and in general for some time since they replaced the Tactic radios.

I thing the long wheel base may be less capable then other crawlers..but it looks great...
Well on climbing straight up it will have an advantage, on tight courses it will of course not have an edge over the shorter ones.

After building the regular wheel base version, I honestly can’t applaud Axial enough for this latest generation SCX10. Combine this with a chassis that is finally long enough to enable a ton of bodies to be made, and it gets nothing but praise from me. 😁
