Absolutely. Now if you are still "stuffed" and end up undereating the rest of the day then it's a no go. I don't think it's ideal for those weighing 145lbs but for larger folks or someone who has a LEGIT reason why they are limited in number of meals then 100 at once is better than 50 and missing the other 50.
Let me clarify what I mean by LEGIT REASON: if you are a surgeon who is going to be in a 8 hour surgery, that is a legit reason to not have as many meals. If one is simply to lazy or piss poor at planning and never has enough food with them that is NOT a legit reason to opt for larger less frequent protein feedings.
I am pretty sure the Dr Mike Podcast goes into meal numbers a little more. But it’s important to remember that whatever meal you eat is not immediately broken down and larger meals take longer to digest so it’s not quite a straight forward as ingesting a certain amount of protein as there are usually other macros involved that will impact the digestion speed as well as the size. There would be an extreme end of the scale where meal numbers would be detrimental but between say 4 and 6 there isn’t a HUGE amount of evidence to suggest it impacts at a level worth worrying about as long as you aren’t getting very obvious signs of digestive stress.
@@PrimeMatt That's roughly a 16oz lean steak. It's not like your body digests half and then shats out the rest. Will it take LONGER to fully digest vs a smaller size sure. I do think that is a large serving size for a bikini competitor who weighs 115lbs but for a large bodybuilder no big deal. If the human body was only able to assimilate 50g at a go we would not have survived back in the hunter gatherer days.
Awesome podcast as always lads! One for the new flannel shirts, one of my favourite Leroy quotes when talking about training, he once said “people shy away from this exercise or that exercise because it hurts, it’s supposed to fucking hurt” so a good quote for a new one is “it’s supposed to fucking hurt” Keep them coming lads!

You will use the 100g if that's what you are asking?
