Impressive manufacturing process and how aligners are not missed/confused with other aligners. Glad to understand how my trays were made by describing each step. Love my Invisalign trays!
Just started with my first tray. All i can say is super comfortable and invisible than i thought. I already falling in love with my aligners. It is really customized and super smart and easy to live with. I can’t wait for the result. Glad i chose invisalign. Don’t settle for cheaper smiledirect or others. They are not that good. Invisalign is so worth it!!
It took 8 to 10 weeks for my aligners to be ready because they had to do a quality check and all that good stuff let alone deciding if I need attachments on my teeth
i did two treatments, first time took 6 weeks from scan day to see the plan and get my trays. second time they were ready in under two weeks and they didn’t even ask me to check if i liked the plan lmaoo
I have an overbite, but that's not what I am worried about. The 2 smaller teeth next to my 2 front teeth are pushed back, and my front 2 are pushed out. I just want those 4/6 front top teeth to be in line. I am wondering if there is a way to handle those without the others if they're able. Because my bottom teeth are jacked up, but I don't care so much about them. Just the top/front 4 to 6.
You'll need an orthodontist to review your case. Even if it only looks like a couple need to move, it's very possible they will need to move the teeth on the other jaw to ensure proper occlusion. Occlusion is the critical part, cosmetics really are secondary. Either way, Invisalign and normal braces can do the job.
First day w my aligners. While I’m amazed at how they fit, there are sharp edges everywhere which is causing a lot of irritation to my tongue and inside of my mouth
Definitely looks old. I just got my scans done yesterday. The dentist have to make a mold they just moved this camera around the inside of my mouth. Sent the scans to the orthodontist so he can make his predictions on how he wants my teetth to move the they emailed them to the factory. I'm pretty excited LoL
i think it's more so that your doctor can check whether everything is okay with your teeth and that you're actually suitable for treatment with invisalign
I sign up Invisalign in the beginning of march 2017. They already billed my INS. They already did the scanning of my teeth and all of that. It's now May and Iam still waiting. I tried calling my dentist office and they said that they would have to call Invisalign and get an update on my trays? I am confused on if I should call Invisalign myself. I think my dentist office just forgot about sending my stuff off in the first place.
How much does the actual Invisalign single tray cost itself? I’m curious to know cause I have Invisalign and paid fully out of pocket for my entire Invisalign treatment. It was a hefty price for a college student.. someone please, enlighten me, cheers
same story here lol i figure it's an investment in myself and I want to graduate with straighter teeth haha. that being said, the material is probably really cheap and most of the cost goes to handling overhead and maintenance of the machines ? they probably make a good margin
It is amazing...an then it happens that the aligners are not in the proper bag with proper number and you do not understand why such a big mistake happens when it is al supposed to be automated and without errors!
Good Q. Here's the answer: These trays are only as good as the planning that goes behind them. The orthodontist decides how your teeth will move, special extra features to add, and when to slow down or exaggerate a movement. Not to mention things like adding the white attachments on to your teeth and/or slendering teeth that are too big. The trays are just a tool - a tool that's success is based entirely on the correct diagnosis and treatment plan
kerrie john orthodontist just takes your oral impression and send to clear aligner companies for this types of orthodontic treatment actually manufacturing cost approximately 800usd max per person
That is not correct. Once the impression is sent to the company, the orthodontist then modifies the final result and sequencing of tooth movements based on their education. Also, the manufacturing costs are much higher than what you stated.
this is 2014 were at 2019, in sure they made more improvements, yet I still think they take too long to deliver, this can get done faster and sent faster but i think they take too lomg on purpose so ppl dont ask for theyre money back during the first 30days. I Boxed and the guy that did my mouthguarf would do 100's with lest technology and accurate and faster. so it just doesnt make sense with the time delivery, they have the money the man power and the technology and the backing now.
Smile Direct is fine for minor cases like simple crowding and gaps. However, since it lacks attachment points or the ability to attach elastics, it cannot solve for complex occlusion issues like overbites, underbites, crossbites, etc.
I've been waiting two months and they just called and blamed it on my doctor. What a joke! Magical right after I told them off my doctor calls they are in.

Yes! I've had mine for 4 months and I agree! How are yours so far? :)
I always wondered if its 3d printed or molded. Wow. Very impressed how much more complex things are.
Ahh I wondered what was printed on my aligners... now I know ... very informative
That's so impressive. Imagine such process of customization gets implemented across all products to satisfy customers' needs.
its not like were paying hundreds for this
@@mg6621 thousands in some cases
Amazing. You guys do amazing work. Im so ready to get my Invisalign. And am taking it very seriously. ❤

Can Invisalign also correct "Deepbite" to some extent??
Andrew Thiyam yes it can treated deep bite malocclusion up to 3mm but with several cases we need some auxiliary forces and micro implants
I wonder if the aligners have to be plastic, can’t a biodegradable material be picked?

Any extra fine media designed for polycarbonate or resin polishing would likely do fine.
