After a year when A-12 is introduced, it is retired and developed into SR-71 Blackbird, which was in service until 1998. All 3 models were able to go faster than 3500km/h. In this video, YF-12 is labelled as Air Superiority while it is interceptor in real life (which I think it is possible because of speed).

There are no secrets regarding the "specs" that I've written off. The Australian government has made thousands of battle simulations over the pacific and they came to the conclusion that in air-air, the F-35 wasn't especially trustworthy, loosing most of its battles against IAF Su-30mki's and Russian Su-27's & Su-35's

It costs about 3 times as much in maintenance and overall costs as a Gripen and it consumes almost twice as much fuel when having flown the same distance and same speed. The price for a new F-18E super hornet is about 75 - 90 million dollars per plane which differs from the Gripens 50-60 million dollars per plane and the Rafalés 60-70 million dollars per plane. Both of them cost almost 1/2 in maintenance compared to the F-18E

And the handling is supposedly "super great" with the F-35 according to Hawx, yet it's meant to handle like an F-16 which equals not that high demands. It has slow roll rate and it can't climb. @bkzabit No. The MiG-29 is most certainly not one of the best planes ever built. I mean for crying out loud it was designed to be stable at first, which means the entire airplane body was designed to be stabled when all other airplanes that came out during the same time was designed to be unstable but controlled by computers. It wasn't cheap, it wasn't effective, it's infamous for having broken down almost twice as much as F-16's, it's unreliable and it costs almost twice as much in maintenance
In 8:45, that's the same plane used in EndWar. Only it's called the XA-20 Razorback rather than just the A-20 Razorback. Not only is this game supposed to take place in 2021 at the latest (which is one year after EndWar's setting) but Scott Mitchel is still a captain by this year rather than a general. Talk about your inconsistancies.
and also Mig MFI, Mirage 4000, Rafale M, Mig 23, another F 15, Su 39, Draken, Viggen, A-12, F 18 Harvest, FB 22, and J 10 and EDI but this last 2 doesnt work online
@andoose It's not a bloody flight simulator. It's meant to be a fun game to play. All things considered, I think they did a pretty decent job at mixing in adequate elements of realism without taking any fun value away.

@bkzabit yes the mig is legendary but u put 6 migs up against 1 F22 the migs would not get with in 50 miles of the F22 b4 becoming apart of the atmosphere
@chrislgrooms Yeah well that is just something they do the enhance the gaming experience, would be fairly boring game if you could only engage 6 planes and return back home. However the performance of the planes in the games is important.

it is, i use the X-29 myself. The YF-12A's only advantage in online play is the target override pod.

The F-15C is an Air Superiority fighter, While the F-15D is the actual StrikeEagle. Its the muti-role one that can attack ground and air.

There's ingame error - MIG-33 doesn't exist, it's called MIG-29M (for Modernised)

Only as a prototype. It never went into full production, and is more of a demonstration jet.
