How bad the game do not have the Tupolev Tu-160, Tupolev Tu-22M, MiG-35 Fulcrum-F and Chengdu J-20 aka Stealth Dragon
And in all (?) Ace Combat games the first mission was to intercept enemy bombers. Yeah, I agree, the game is very different. Feels very arcade when using their new "Dog Fighting Mode". And theres only one mission where you can use Attacker aircrafts, and it's an anti-ship mission. Quite short too.
In all, I do really enjoy this game. Of course, I really hope they come out with more and a bigger variety of aircraft to download. I really like it that they have the Su-24 Fencer and a few more older planes, but I think it would be great if there were more available at some point. For instance it would be fun to play with a few older warriors like the F-105 Thunderchief, F-100 Super Sabre, SAAB Draken and Viggen. Also maybe some stuff from AC3 like F-16XF and R-201.
You need to pay for the Harrier and other DLC planes. By finishing the game once you unlock Color2 for all planes. By earning enough points while playing online you will unlock Color3 for all planes. Some online achievements will unlock plane colors too. DLC aircraft have Color2 and Color3 unlocked from the beginning.

Completing Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War, Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War and Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies only with the glorious MIG-21 like a BOSS, no need for the "high-tech" OP planes :D

Some mechanics were tested in AC: Joint Assault on PSP. (Enhanced Combat View - removes the distanced fighting. And the game was set in the real world.) As for AH... well, I really hope they will not keep this idea. I really miss Strangereal world.
I don't know much about the history of these two machines. But I think the Tornado is a more universal platform. There is a model for ground, air and electronic warfare. It's faster and can engage it's targets quicker. And maybe they don't need V-TOL at the moment. BTW, I think both machines are awesome.
Agreed. All flting games nowadays seem to focus on the f-22, f-35 and 500 versions of the Flanker family. Don't get me wrong, I love the flanker, but having that many variants kind of annoys me. Definitely need to add in some more cold war planes from around the world, including the century series.
The F117A Nighthawk and B2 Bomber are not fictional planes i have seen both of them in person what Ace Combat games need is a SR-71 Blackbird

The SR-71 is completely unarmed, it's just a surveillance plane.
You don't have to finish the mission, just select an aircraft and pilot it for a couple of moments, then you can exit the mission - the plane will appear in the aircraft viewer.
Finish the game once and then pilot each plane. You can do this in "free mission" then all planes will appear in "aircraft viewer" Some of the planes I have are downloaded from PSN and the Phantom was a special bonus.
Tornado Gr.4 is my main attack plane F-15C, F-15 S/MTD, and F-15E are my primary fighter and multirole fighters

I would only fly the American planes sadly my fanboy ness keeps me from wanting to fly the other planes but the American airforce is the best in the world!
I wished they kept them ECM pods on the wingtips on the Su-37 , it looked more sleek with those things

I haven't tried this airplane online. Maybe they made the missiles weaker than the standard ones. You know how it goes in video games- the faster the weapon fires, the weaker it is and the slower the more powerful.

Got the game recently! Absolute awesome! Got the Harrier and Tornado, although the disc tray decided to bugger up. Luckily there wasn't any games in it!

Complete the story to unlock them in the "free mission". Fly every plane to unlock them in the "aircraft viewer."

Just wanted to bring this up, the RAF have replaced their long range interceptor, the Harrier with the Tornado. The Harrier has better payload and can go higher with full payload and has a special missile system or something like that. The only reason the Tornado is used is because it's quicker. Now personally I think that is a mistake, what about you? I know it's not the particular type of video to post this on, but I saw the Harrier and Tornado together in it and thought "Why not?"

Why did the original Ace Combat games for PS2 allow you to fly the jets a lot easier. Way more responsive . Then PS3 you can't control their climbs or banking it's like the controller is on a roller coaster . Am I missing something here????
I wish you could play Ace Combat Infinity. It was much better despite the very short campaign and had classic controls without roller-coasters. Assault Horizon was a bad experiment.
Well at least I can still play all the editions on PS2 where you can fly the planes much more accurately . I just do not get why they would make the controls so bad for maneuvering the jets?

Some. B1 and B2 are available in Conquest mode, but only when your HQ is very low on health. It's hard to use them and looks like there's no Color 3 for them. AC130 is not available online.
Haven't played AC6, but in this game CFA has pretty weak armor. It does have those burst missiles and railguns. Railguns are weird though. Two railguns appear, but you can shoot only one, and then the system reloads really slowly.
Mi-24 will be available after you complete the campaign. You have to fly it once for it to appear in the aircraft viewer. AFS-X is a DLC.

Where's that MH-68A Stingray/Agusta A109? Is it not in the game? I think the uh-60 is cool though... In ace combat assault horizon legacy +, there are no helicopters that you can play. Anf probably no B-2 bomber you can play.

Well, i think they nerfed that one, aiming 16 targets is kinda insane, specially when this weapon can lock both air, surface and ground targets
AC:AH Does not have the tunnel run in the end either every other AC Game had a final level tunnel run, they ruined everything with AC:AH

No. It appears in one mission, and you only control it's guns.
Search for "aircraft viewer" in the menu.

Well, you need to create an account. Phantom was only available as a pre-order/ special edition bonus. You can't get that one.

It's one of the DLC planes.
ace combat zero is the best compared to assault horizon you can only move left right up down whereas on old ten consoles you could completely rotate around and perform better manoeuvres
King_blackbird out of AUS You have the change the controls in the option to "Original" to fully rotate like in the old games.
