@@grast5150 oh that one's easy to answer. Divorce has been made much easier to get, allowing people to leave marriages they weren't able to before. This has allowed many people to leave abusive relationships. Greater financial equality between men and women has also allowed women to leave relationships that they couldn't afford to leave. When you can't control your own finances, open a bank account without permission, or get a credit card, of course divorce is rare, as it was such a difficult thing to do
