I didn't know before but watching this now I realize how good Ward actually was. This is the most impressive shadow boxing ever and he does it for 30-40 min.

I thought Kovalev definitely won the first fight, but watched it again and it was way closer than I thought. Kovalev missed a lot of shots that looked like they landed. Forget the Compu box.

Everyone forgets ward cleaned up at super six at super middle.... Then had shit load of contract issues.... Now he has moved up as the smaller man to face kovalev who nobody wanted apart off.... D.A. R. Yeah he is. He turned into a pressure fighter after the knockdown in their last match. Kovalev didn't like that pressure at all. Sure, it was atypical of Ward (borderline Shawn Porter-esque in some moments lol like the tackles) but that doesn't take away from the fact that he landed several clean shots and exchanges
