💯 Exactly, you could be practicing something that you’re not very good at like hook off the jab for example. Naturally, you would look like you’re getting beat up because it’s something that you’re PRACTICING. Kind if like, practicing a layup with your left hand when you’re actually right handed in basketball. Anyone that doesn’t know you gonna be like “oh he sucks” 😂.

Sparring your teammates "own gym" or retired goats sparring should always be at a steady pace to help growth when it's other gyms that's when u can turn up or if ur in camp and bring in sparring partners that's when u turn up
I was sparring a heavyweight who a new coach at my boxing gym and I got in no head gear and no mouth pieces he tried throwing bombs but didn't understand why he only landed 5 or 6 clean punches in 3 rounds when I gave the new coach my word I wasn't throwing but let him throw as much or hard as he wants...
Which is also something we don't see anymore experienced boxers in with guys wanting to go pro or looking for fights and strictly working defense with them coming at you.

His discipline should be commended after all these years being at the top. Perfect mixture of hard-work, skill, and talent. Most world class boxers lay off the gas a little bit once they finish the fight, and they start getting serious with their workout regime and diet at the start of training camp. But if you look at Bud he stays in great shape all year round and you can tell because his body is acclimated to that weight range, whereas other guys look dry during weigh-in because they lose mostly water weight.
I love watching generational talent that have the work ethic and skill to back it up. Bud, Inoue, Usyk are in a class of their own.

2 warriors of Christ. Very rare these days that I can point to 2 men that I’d be proud for my son to look up to, but these 2 fit that mold. Good men, fathers, Christians, all young fighters today should look up to these 2.

No he’s not being arrogant. Jesus teaches humbleness, meekness, love, forgiveness, strength, courage, integrity etc.. you know, the things that are honorable and worth looking up to….. the very people that we should NOT look up to has deceived you into thinking what he said was arrogant 😂 come on now.

@MrToolz. I understand it but I'm no longer a Christian. As long as they're not hurting children or outright evil then I live and let live.

Floyd gave Spence a sparring session. Errol should've choose Floyd as a trainer and not DJ.
Dj has had a huge downfall since he was awarded Coach of the Year. Charlo, Errol, Ryan, Frank all have lost since then. Joshua is the only one still on top.
