Don’t know if you’ll see this Dr. Mackie , but you took a story that I had read numerous times (60 yrs old) and moved it from black and white words on a flat page to a 3 dimensional encounter that seemed to lift off the page. This new telling had color and texture and flesh and blood and nuance and meaning that it never had before. I could say more but will end by saying thank you and may God continue to bless your teachings and ministry.
The most current comment is 6 months ago...I simply want to say: thank-you for keep these videos online. I'm making my way through all 37 videos on Matthew and talking about them with a group of ladies every week. I really appreciate your teachings; I especially enjoy the fantastic ability you bring to explaining who our Father is, who His son is, all the beautiful Jewish words with their deep meaning and who I am in this whole tapestry.
These are amazing teachings! It blows my mind and opens me to a realm of understanding of the word I've never seen or experienced before. Please, continue to leave all your teachings online. The impact of these videos are prenominal. I am so grateful to God for His faithfulness, through technology, to reach the other side of the world, South Africa, with your teachings. Thank you, Tim.
I had not put that together and often wondered why He said what He did...it was a shock, but her response was beautiful and had the humility that was in line with what He taught. So this connects to Paul's experience, too. Thank you . I have looked for you since my first encounter with a NewTestament at 12 years old given to me by a Lay Nun. Then i found that the Mass had the same Words. Jesus kept referring to other Scriptures. I had to find where those came from...and discovered The Old Testament!
I wonder if the Canaanite woman is an example of the bold-faith people Jesus was talking about when he said, “The kingdom of God allows force, and the aggressive lay hold of It aggressively.”? I also wonder if Jesus’ parable intentionally described a common domestic scene that would instantly reveal to her the connection between children sharing their bread with the household pets (even though, strictly speaking, they are stretching the boundaries of permissible behavior) and her plea to Jesus to “bend the rules” and provide for an alien to the covenant what would be her inheritance by grace not many months hence.
You shared /explained tha story of the Canaanite woman & the feeding of the crowd, in a way that the Old Testament lead to Jesus & the New Testament of his life, death & resurrection, lead to the authority & his reign in the future kingdom of God.
Anyone know the book he recommends in this video? I couldn’t understand the authors name but I think the title is “the chosen” maybe? Isn’t this series exciting?!😃 God bless y’all
Could this possibly be a story of a believer wanting her daughter healed who isn't a believer and Jesus touches the daughter because of the mother's faith...

Amen to your comment Kathy Frost!
@Reformed Christian Teaching prove your statement..
@Reformed Christian Teaching I have heard him say that about hell, the same thing RC Sproul said about hell.
@Reformed Christian Teaching will do. It may take a day or two, to find the actual links
So blessed by this during all this mess!
Literally!
@@HeyKadeem amen , up now praying and listening to WOKETOWN videos . God is good!
Tim - you are wearing shorts, not only to church, but at the pulpit - you're my hero dude! :-) Seriously - Sean Swart (South Africa)
Currently viewing and studying Matthew along with you.
Wow! 😲 This lesson was MIND-BLOWING!! 🤯
Praise the Lord. Thank you Tim Mackie for sharing this.
Please post Tim’s concluding prayers…that would be so profound…I thank God for this young man and this amazing ministry!! God bless you, dear Tim!
Tim is most unorthodox and genuine. His gift for the relationship we have with Jesus, and relaying it is excellent.
Pastor Tim does love to 'pause' and 'stop' and taking many side streets while explaining texts. I always need to take a long nap when he's done 😉😇
