Great video Jake, will defo look at getting some better rods and cleaning kit. The missus bought me a kit at christmas and it fell apart first clean. 🙈
Clear, informative and easily understood video recording. It just goes to show that it really doesn't take a lot of effort to keep your gun in tip-top condition. Just as good for experienced as well as novice shooters. Any more good tips?
I am new to shotguns but not to shooting. I shoot competition rifles out to 2000 yards. When I clean any of my rifle bores I only use nylon brushes. Never any copper or bronze brushes. I see that you use a metal brush in your video. Is it then OK to use copper/brass/bronze brushes in cleaning shotguns?
helllo, I have a Tikka 412s model trapping shotgun. There are scratches and mold on the metal body part. I want to take it to the service, is it possible to paint it in its original color?
The wool mop is used with oil to coat the barrels AFTER cleaning and not to take out any crap from the barrels.
New to the sport so this video was very helpful thanks 👍
Very important to keep your gun in good condition!

Amazing video really helpful especially as I’m new to the shooting scene 👍👍
Good tip on the pull through for a quick clean. Thanks.
Good video, I would tighten the extended chokes up with the choke key.
Great video, always found a bore snake great when the barrels are still a bit warm, need the rod though for a proper clean.
Really thorough and helpful guide!
Very useful video, I’ve definitely learnt some new tips which will come in handy in the future.
Didn't realise you could get alloy rods. Brilliant run though on how to clean your shotgun.
Learned to leave choke tubes on while cleaning. Thank you 😊

Doesn’t the gun need oiling with the gun oil after you use the liqui moly cleaner on it?
