Another good budget model from Hornby. As with the Class 37 I won't be getting one as I have several Lima examples and don't collect Coca-Cola branded models. The rather obscure 121 seems a strange choice for this treatment though. To me the Railroad 08 shunter is the obvious one as it is a popular and instantly recognisable class that would appeal to youngsters. 1st generation DMUs on the other hand are much more under the radar. An attractive model though, Lima DMUs were always nicely done.
I agree, a Class 08 would have been a good choice but I do like the Class 121 😊 It is good value for new at the moment and I hope that helps to encourage people into the hobby 😁 Thanks for watching 👍🏻

I have quite a good collection of Hornby Coca-Cola Stuff myself, such as the Christmas Coca-Cola Set with the Bagnall Diesel Shunter, Container & Box Van with Santa on it, the 0-4-0 Steam Engine, Refrigerator Van, Small Tanker, Big Tanker, Regular Box Car & Flatbed with the Bottle and the Summertime Coca-Cola Train Set.
I'm planning to buy this Hornby Coca-Cola Class 121 along with the Six-Wheeled Tanker & General Utility Coach very soon.
I recommend getting the R1276M Summertime Coca-Cola Train Set in future as well as the Six-Wheeled Tanker & General Utility Coach, then your Hornby Coca-Cola collection will be completed.

I've given my 0-4-0 E2 Coca Cola tank engine his first little run, on my project in progress railway. I've decided to name him Cody. Have I chosen a good name?😂
It can't be an E2. The E2 tank engines are 0-6-0s and I don't think Hornby have ever made one with the coca cola livery
@@trainsacrossthenorth The engine is an 0-4-0 E2 of Hornby status, in Coca Cola livery. It's usually of the Hornby Collector's Club design.
@@kellyashfordtrains2642 what I meant was that the 0-4-0 isn't an E2. The E2 tank engines were 0-6-0s and became popular for being the basis of thomas the tank engine
Yeah it's not a Class E2 😬 It's more of a freelance locomotive 🤔
