With his genius strategy, Lu Xun destroyed Liu Bei in Liu Bei's heyday, just as Zhou Yu destroyed Cao Cao in Cao Cao's heyday. Lu Xun also destroyed Cao Xiu, who tried to attack the country of Wu, which led to Cao Xiu's death.
First off, another cool video man. And yeah Lu Xun is really intelligent, honest, and humble. Obvsly he's not perfect with Pei Songzhi comments. But he sounds not too intelligent like Zhuge Liang imo that can cause oversight like Ma Su incident or to ambitious like Sima Yi (I dont know this guy 'Moral Compass' to tell you if he's directly evil in contrast to Zhuge Liang but he's oppurtunist for sure i think) because Lu Xun never sounded to wanted higher position or even rebel against his lord. Anyway, with his death. your small story with Lu Kang, and based on what i read on summaries Koei gave on Romance's summary about Lu Kang. Lu Kang gave the same vibe that Lu Xun had and maybe you could do video about him to to shed light about his life based on Records.
Yeah i read that Lu Kang was the last hero of Wu which gets me exited to see why so he will deffo get a video (i even picked a cool face i like for him from ROTK13 in preperation :p). I find it hard to judge when they relocate civillians as im not sure if the people were forced to move house or provided a better oppertunity/jobs? But when Lu Xun arrived to pillage and raid i think it is just a refection of the times and stratagies regarding warfare. Unfortunatly life was cheap back then. Perhaps he didnt like the waste of time and resources as he marched north in conjunction with Sun Quan and so decided to not return home with less than he left with. It could have even been a personal matter that wasn't documented but i think Lu Xun was too Dutiful to act that way. Either way he is a man youd want on your team not against you.
Lu Xun came from a large scholarly family, and his family and Sun Ce were enemies. Their family interests always came first, and it was only after a consensus of cooperation was reached that the Jiangdong scholarly clans, represented by their family, began to provide assistance to Sun Quan's rule.
Late comment but I don't think he is underrated. For example, in ROTK series. Lu Xun is one of the best if not the second best officer after Zhou Yu in term of stats total.
@@aoishiro6622 I see your point. But for one who's introduction to ROTK was through DW and didn't start learning about the historical side until a few years ago, I see him as underrated
@@aoishiro6622I don't think that Lu Xun was underrared too,He was good at defense, but in the battles of offence,He just won the battle of the sneak attacking Jingzhou province by following Lu Meng.

Man Lu Xun was just built different, it’s good to know Sun Quan cleared his name after his passing. Amazing analysis vid dude! 🧡
Thanks a lot! :)
Lu Xun's death was sad.
Excellent video, so informative and so well done. The best yet.
Ikr I was so engrossed in Lu Xun’s tale 🧡

Didn't Lu-Xun marry Sun Ce's daughter ? I wonder if that gave him favor with Sun Quan if he did.
Yeah your right, probably did earn him favour too like you say. Ill pay attention to the marriages details more in the future.

Error at ~16:30: Liu Yan is either wrong or needs clarity as he was long dead by the time of the ill-fated campaign against Wu
My apolagies, iv foolishly put the wrong Liu Yan Portrait. This is the Liu Yan that is supposed to be there.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liu_Yan_(Shu_Han)
In the yeat 251, Sun Quan's eldest son, Sun Deng, died
XD
Did you mention his name wasn’t originally Lu Xun ?
He changed it to that name.
No i didn't. Cool bit of info though. It was Lu Yi beforehand.
