I've been asking the last several eps that we let Zo barrel up anything he missed just to see what happens. Today I don't need to ask that, because he made solid contact with everything. Even if the string ball wasn't re-used I appreciate at 1:50 letting him do the toss-up hit.
Gen Xer here...EVERY kid I knew had a garage. Inside that garage was a barrel of some sort. Inside that barrel was a variety of "yard sport" items including: Jarts Croquet mallets, hopefully an entire set Badminton rackets A few bats...wood, metal, plastic. At least 2 basketballs Maybe a beatup baseball mitt at the bottom. One of those burgundy rubber balls that were ubiquitous in every schoolyard playground. And of course.....at least ONE Nerf football AND baseball.
Two basketballs, both flat, but one more flat than the other. (I'm a GenXer, too, and your comment needs 127 more likes. Kids these days, I tell ya . . .)
Umpires began calling balls and strikes in 1863. By 1874 a walk was nine balls, but it dwindled down to four by 1889. One year, 1887, saw batters granted four strikes. Imagine how long A's and Yankees games would have taken under these old rules.
also we get a side angle, from the other side of the box of Zo, and I think that would be a great angle to see the riser's movement, or any more vertical pitch from. It's hard to fully appreciate the riser from behind the mound, imo.
If I remember correctly the nerf ball was attached to a bungie cord that was attached to a tee. I had something similar. I don't think it was nerf though.
Isn’t the modern baseball older than the blitzball? I remember when the blitzball came out (and shortly after, i remember the feeling of a blitzball hitting my forehead) But i remember the same baseball ever since i was born.
The 1839 ball was missing about a pound of chewing tobacco infused saliva.
So true
Day 22 of asking @wegotice to use a gong as a strikezone in wiffleball at bats against zo
I’m pretty sure gongs are hella expensive unfortunately
@@aDSdl_l they ain’t that bad, I’ve seen some going for about 50.
@@Off_the_field_sports88 what size? Cause the only ones I’ve seen that are actually strike zone size (26” to 40”) are like $800-$15,000 lol

Hey man I was wondering if you could make a video on how you grip and throw your pitches?
This is the first time I've seen Zo actually win a challenge
Great video as always boys, keep it going!!!
Try pitching with a ping pong ball and Zo has to use a paddle
I just started watching 2 week ago cuz my friend told me bout you guys and now i camt stop watching your vids

Jack in the city connect gors crazy. Need a bracket when they're all out
7:20 that riser deffinetly clipped zone. That should be 1-2, but that is such a crazy pitch, I get how you'd miss it.
also we get a side angle, from the other side of the box of Zo, and I think that would be a great angle to see the riser's movement, or any more vertical pitch from. It's hard to fully appreciate the riser from behind the mound, imo.
but I actually want the full song at the end
I swear Jack looks like bugs bunny with a bumb on his head with his old timey hat on 😂
What is that glove?
That nerf ball had to be sad for a long time before this
We need the Nerf ball origin story.
"Kingdom Come" The origin is Biblical; it's thought to come from the line from the Lord's Prayer, "thy kingdom come."
Side note. That’s a really nice view from that field. I’d love to just go and watch the view from there for an hour on a day like that
I need Jack to put out an album of all the songs he's started and put at the end of the videos
So did you guys ever play baseball

Who's got the translation for the 'catch phrase'
Come for the content, stay for the amazing endings.
Hi we got ice I love your videos
Isn’t the modern baseball older than the blitzball?
I remember when the blitzball came out (and shortly after, i remember the feeling of a blitzball hitting my forehead)
But i remember the same baseball ever since i was born.
MLB has been changing the balls rather frequently since 2018, so the modern MLB ball is in fact younger than the Blitzball.
Makes me want to see if a BB pitcher could make the older balls move more
The videos are better when Zo wins.
"This'll put a pilgrim indoors for years." Jack Doyle
6:42 Was that the bite of ‘87!?
So from 1860-1950 they used the lemon stitched ball!?
What an orb of pleasure was WILD
That Spanish dub really got me 😂
I think this might be the first time I have ever seen Lorenzo win one of these lol
If you watch the ones from the early part of this year, he started 2024 off by beating Jack I think 3 out of 4 videos.
What does the Spanish translate to?

i think that jack is the first person to ever say "conan obrian's estranged naval daughter"

Zo, Jack always has the advantage lol
1:08 if you don’t see the ball and don’t have 2 strikes then don’t swing because there’s a chance it could be a ball
It’s not that deep
I do remember kingdom come a lot in the late 80s-90s. 😂
