@@MsTriangle I've never really considered unconditional love to have any value. If someone has no standards for loving you, then they're not really loving you, more so than they could anyone else. Having someone who believes that you are flawed and does have certain standards you would need to fulfill, and yet still loves you because they judge you to be favourable is far more gratifying in my mind.
@@evanethens that's a very platonic way of thinking. It's not that easy... Real life is not like that. Imagine you're in love with an addict, no matter how much You love, sometimes You have to go...
When someone you love keeps making excuses like this why you can’t be together like she was here it’s either because they’re afraid or not interested in you!
I remember saying the same thing to my ex when he used to abuse me verbally and treat me in ways I didn't deserve to be treated.. He wasn't careful with me... When you love someone you have to be careful with it because you hold a lot of power, love is powerful, you have to be responsible with that power. He lost me. Now I am following my dream, become a much better person, looking and feeling better than ever, loving every bit of life and now he wants to come back. Rejected him. That's my revenge.
I thought about how all of this torture is just happening inside of Susan's head and not Edward because he had it all written on his novel and he is done with that . perfect revenge
Wtf is wrong with you, she's already married. She knew he would struggle at the beginning and chose to stay with him, you don't marry a person like that and then just throw them away because they didn't get rich
Such a powerful scene, the green car is a common symbolism for the act of revenge. The red colour is the moment he decides to do so. But the green thing is just to say that he will get hurt while doing so. Its the same in the korean movie oldboy
When you love someone you work it out.. You don't just throw it away !! This is mean : The policeman in the movie symbolizes Edward's new wife who believes in him and encourages him to overcome his fear and weakness to achieve his dreams Despite the problems and crises they went through (which was symbolized in the story by the cancer that the policeman suffers from), she was encouraged to realize his dreams
Im going through a hard time with the girl I love. I've tried to be so careful with it, but it might be lost for good this time. I want to work through it and build our relationship to what it should be, but I dont think it's gonna happen anymore. Im shattered
give it your all so if it ends, there’s no regret on your part. keep operating in good faith until you can’t anymore, and the worst outcome will not negatively affect you too much no matter what it is.
I've been thinking a lot about this movie and all the different perspectives people have on the comments. Some believe she is bad, some consider it's just fair. What I've come to unterstand is the mistake she made was having that life she needed through someone else instead of herself. She wants stability so she goes with the guy that offers her that. That makes me think that being with Gyllenhaal's character was but a way of filling that "artistic", "romantic" interest she had. What I'm trying to say is that she is not a bad person, she just had to understand that the void we humans have sometimes have to be filled within ourselves, otherwise we will always feel unsatisfied.
This is exactly what happened to me well not literally but the way her thinking and view in life are the same with my ex. And i kept that weight of pain and suffering for more than 3 months because i know i did every way possible to show my love for her but she just threw it away and didn't fight hard enough to keep our relationship but I'm proud to say that i moved on and accepted the fact that she's no longer with me and will not be coming back .
I come back to this scene whenever I’m feeling down or starting a new goal, etc when I met my ex I was 19 dead broke living in a run down Aparment I just moved into from living in my 98 civic the past year before I was proud of that Aparment lol I grew up poor but never gave up on chasing my dreams she never believed in me when I told her I knew I was going to be successful I’m 24 now with a brand new luxury car and just broke into making 70k a year I dropped out of highschool so 70k isn’t bad for someone like me and bout to own two rental properties in two different states honestly I still miss her a lot and think about her all the time she left me when I was at one of my lowest points in life and I thank her for that
The problem is that people nowadays jus live for their own selves(SELFISH/CARELESS)...their is no such thing as True love...it's jus Relationship(TIME)
When you love someone you work out you just don't throw it away you might not get it back. This is the reason I am trying for the last 1000 days and losing it every passing day. Maybe it's not the right advice. Maybe there are no things like Love.
He complains that she never supported him. Well how could she? He never supported her. She was too busy holding herself up let alone him. She was much more than unhappy. She was tired.
Because she had high expectations from life and him. She tired herself by setting the bar higher and higher until she's lost. Sometimes the real beauty is in simple things, that's what susan couldn't see. She didn't deserve a guy like edward, who is caring, loving, romantic.

EXACTLY. Only sick people think love is unconditional
Love isn’t always enough.
not for women, thats for sure. They just chase Chad and Tyrone and sugar daddy...

I swear to God Jake Gyllenhaal just spoke my heart. Goosebumps. 1:31
When someone you love keeps making excuses like this why you can’t be together like she was here it’s either because they’re afraid or not interested in you!
Exactly
I remember saying the same thing to my ex when he used to abuse me verbally and treat me in ways I didn't deserve to be treated.. He wasn't careful with me... When you love someone you have to be careful with it because you hold a lot of power, love is powerful, you have to be responsible with that power. He lost me. Now I am following my dream, become a much better person, looking and feeling better than ever, loving every bit of life and now he wants to come back. Rejected him. That's my revenge.
What a heartbreaking scene...i always get choked up watching it😢😞
I thought about how all of this torture is just happening inside of Susan's head and not Edward because he had it all written on his novel and he is done with that . perfect revenge
All those words one by one pierces my heart...as if I am Susan in this scene. This is such a powerful scene.

Now keep going through your life, think about the future, live the present and never do it with another person.
i feel u, I did the same.
It would have worked out if they had both waited until they had professional careers to get married
amy adams is stunning
“I need a life that is more structured. I need a future that is more structured…” well, she has a point.
Wtf is wrong with you, she's already married. She knew he would struggle at the beginning and chose to stay with him, you don't marry a person like that and then just throw them away because they didn't get rich
This movie made me realize that true love is nothing but a mere deception, to empty somebody's bank balance.
Pretty cynical, but to each their own
If that's what you think, then you've missed the whole point completely..
@@ancestrosdelsol9494 like what ?
Disturbingly good film that really makes you think 🤔 xxxxxxxxxxx
This whole movie saved my relationship ❤
Such a powerful scene, the green car is a common symbolism for the act of revenge. The red colour is the moment he decides to do so. But the green thing is just to say that he will get hurt while doing so. Its the same in the korean movie oldboy
When you love someone, you work it out. Unless you realise that the opposite person is a snake, then don’t bother working anything 😂
This relates to me on a spiritual level 🤣
When you love someone you work it out.. You don't just throw it away !! This is mean :
The policeman in the movie symbolizes Edward's new wife who believes in him and encourages him to overcome his fear and weakness to achieve his dreams Despite the problems and crises they went through (which was symbolized in the story by the cancer that the policeman suffers from), she was encouraged to realize his dreams
Edward never married again, Susan said that at the beggining of the movie.
I think I read somewhere that the policeman Bobby is supposed to represent Edward's subconscious wanting to get justice
@@bigvictory143 Thank you, I will take your advice to heart. It is very appreciated
She never get it again, love
Yeah
Get yourself to be satisfied fast then looked after others just like the emergency put your mask first in airplane before putting your loved one
She’s a whoredemon (*PROVEN 100%BAD IN THE END) Any question/zzz???
she just following what animals do, looking for a provider, they don't care if their own dies/cries/get hurts, they just want a provider
Haven't seen the rest of the movie so this scene really leaves me hanging lol
it is one hell of a rollercoaster ride, I recommend seeking it out...
Hope you've seen it by now. Nocturnal Animals is a masterpiece.
Stunning acting and stunning people!!
When you love someone, and it's not working. Do yourself a favor, move on.
Wise words
It's equally a blessing for the person being left behind. Not immediately, but in time.
wow if only people thought of that earlier thanks for the help
1:22 MY FAVORITE PART😌
This scene is the perfect example of why death is the best option
"Nobody gets away with what you did. Nobody."
This is so dramatic they both love the drama 😂 😂
This is the most painful Movie I've ever seen in my Life
I was scared and sad to the Bones
I come back to this scene whenever I’m feeling down or starting a new goal, etc when I met my ex I was 19 dead broke living in a run down Aparment I just moved into from living in my 98 civic the past year before I was proud of that Aparment lol I grew up poor but never gave up on chasing my dreams she never believed in me when I told her I knew I was going to be successful I’m 24 now with a brand new luxury car and just broke into making 70k a year I dropped out of highschool so 70k isn’t bad for someone like me and bout to own two rental properties in two different states honestly I still miss her a lot and think about her all the time she left me when I was at one of my lowest points in life and I thank her for that
was lesson for the future?do not trust any partner?
That’s the destiny of every dreamer romantic man in this world ..
and here they are looking at two people who deserve an oscar
The problem is that people nowadays jus live for their own selves(SELFISH/CARELESS)...their is no such thing as True love...it's jus Relationship(TIME)
This is exactly my state.
And i said same things.
And i am surprise how exactly same Jake and my arguments were
Breakups in real life can be uglier than that
True
I have experienced this a couple of months ago. Word by word. Situation was perfectly matching
This movie is underrated.
Relatable every step of the way, this movie.
When you love someone you work out you just don't throw it away you might not get it back. This is the reason I am trying for the last 1000 days and losing it every passing day. Maybe it's not the right advice. Maybe there are no things like Love.
Exactly my situation, i love someone who don't want me
That car at the end tho 🔥

He complains that she never supported him. Well how could she? He never supported her. She was too busy holding herself up let alone him. She was much more than unhappy. She was tired.
Because she had high expectations from life and him. She tired herself by setting the bar higher and higher until she's lost. Sometimes the real beauty is in simple things, that's what susan couldn't see. She didn't deserve a guy like edward, who is caring, loving, romantic.
Now I really want to know where this is from! Love your channel!
