That last train home rendition at the end had me tearing up, beautiful sound from that synth THEN, I STARTED LAUGHING TO MYSELF because i imagined and fully expected Claudio to yell NEXT at the end.
I couldn't pull myself away from this synth when I first saw it at NAMM in 2020. It's so incredibly creative, and the build quality is Rolls Royce level. It's a true instrument!
Beautiful rendition of Last Train Home!! What a Beauty of a synth in the hands of one of the best!! Have a blast at NAMM, can’t wait to see your footage!!🙌🏼👏🏻👍🏼
I remember the video when you met Stephan and first saw the C-15. I knew you liked that a lot! Nice video and looking forward to seeing the NAMM stuff you do next week!
Beautiful! This sound (and this instrument) combine the warmth of an analog synth with boundless possibilities of digital overtone shaping. Nice playing!
Very nice sound from a kind of "messy" sound architecture with many feedback loops. You know always how to use a synth made for expressive playing like the C15.
C’est un très joli synthétiseur et le son me plait énormément car très ressemblant à celui du CS-80 tout en ajoutant des variantes de timbres, de la richesse en fonction du jeu. Vraiment très très bien !
Great patch definitely CS-80 and whenever I hear a CS-80 I cant get Vangelis out of my head its like being back in the womb, las train home though what more can you ask for.
Not to butt in but I have seen Dr. program on the fly, so I know he has knowledge of it, and I'd say he creates his own sounds by ball parking it from a preset close to the sound he wants, and then add/subtract to get the most important response. He's a synth fiddler like his buddy Anthony Marinelli.
@@joelalexander4513 I dont doubt the doctor's capability but wether he finds the time. Creating a good sound could often take an hour per sound unless you get lucky
Skeptical. You play one preset for an entire video. Okay, pretty nice preset, but . . . . What else? Looking at the panel, I see a ton of buttons and only a few knobs or controllers. Menu diving? I don’t know . . .
I think the idea is that you plug in a monitor, or maybe you run an app on a computer or tablet, when patching. I forget which it is (app on a device or just an external screen), but I remember seeing the programming environment, and it seemed inviting compared to, for example, the current EaganMatrix view with the Osmose keyboard. When I see the price tag, though, I understand that it competes with Waldorf Quantum, which comes with the screen and app all in one, and a polyphonic aftertouch keyboard, and analog filters, and a lot of knobs, and even more extensive synthesis capabilities. It makes the C-15 seem expensive to me. It IS expensive for the hardware you get, but that's less of a concern for some people, who just want the synth, and can afford it (or folks who get a promotional discount - at least they could tell the truth... with this, I think they wouldn't have to pretend to like something that's questionable). The negatives are obvious, such as the one you mentioned (b.y.o. screen)
Mouais...une video de 6min50 pour une telle usine à gaz...On ne profite pas vraiment de toute l'étendue des sons et fonctions d'un tel clavier😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢❤

Metheny & Mays - what a combo - still gives me chills after decades - timeless stuff.
@@hazybrain7 Beautiful stuff indeed!
@@hazybrain7 Glad I got to see them a few times in concert. If I only had a time machine...
Gorgeous and ch’e merivigliosso!

When listening to demos of this synth I've often thought that would have suited Lyle very well. And you just proved it with that. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful version of "Last Train Home"! Greetings from Argentina, Doctor!
Sounds so so so incredible. 👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I couldn't pull myself away from this synth when I first saw it at NAMM in 2020. It's so incredibly creative, and the build quality is Rolls Royce level. It's a true instrument!
It's even more special when is Dr. Mix who plays it. Thanks Claudio!
Hi Doctor Mix! Pat Metheny song very, very beautiful!!! ♥♥♥

Sounds amazing in the right hands. Bravo as always 👏
Yeah need his hands lol
Nice synthesizer, doctor 😎🎹 it’s got some smooth tones. I’ve always enjoyed watching your clips. You did some amazing demos of synthesizers.
Last Train Home is an amazing piece. The brushes of the drums drive that piece like the title says, a train. And that melody is beautifully haunting.
This is a sound that Vangelis would have loved. :)

Wow, Dr. M. You certainly have the chops. Beautiful rendition of the Metheny/Mays song.
Last train home always brings tears to my eyes. Gorgeous!
A stunning and gorgeous tone! Well done! 👍
Lyle Mays was truly unique and I count myself fortunate enough to have seen the PMG live. R.I.P. Lyle, your music will live forever.
Pat and Lyle created some of the most beautiful music ever. We miss you Lyle….
Such a beautiful synth.
My c-15 has also become my "main" synth.
love it.
my headphones love this!!
Nice!! Love the last train home!!
Lovely and deep sound giving an impression of ease and lightness, thanks to your playing, Claudio!
See u at NAMM! 🙂
Awesome. this is my fav high end instrument (I dream to buy it).
I m glad you will meet Stephan Schmitt.
Reminds me of the old (late 70s) GDS sound-wise. Which is a very good thing!
Beautiful playing man. What the world needs now…
thats a eally expressive synth, love that sound
Nice Sound!
I resonate very much with what you've just played. 🤩🎧
Quel son merveilleux, encore ! Merci.
Very nice sound from a kind of "messy" sound architecture with many feedback loops.
You know always how to use a synth made for expressive playing like the C15.
Really good full sound with character.
Wonderful tone !
A so beatiful sound.
Magic!
I kind of want one. But I'm still rocking out on my Moog One.
Hi My name is Peter and I love Dr Mix
The Moog is a rather special synth since many great songs used it .
wow i got the Lyle mays tingle .....very nice

Sounds amazing, but why no knobs or faders? Would be interested to know their rationale for returning to loads of buttons and a single data knob.
That was the first thing that came to mind but I'm sure it's logical to use,not a traditional layout for sure.
I played one at perfect circuit at it was unreal see u at namm
My favorite PMG song.. 🎉
- Nice. Sounds great.
Is this an FM synth with analog filters? It sounds so smooth.
Love it ❤
Beautiful...
Beutiful, very inspirational.
Digital FM synth, yeah? Looks nice! 😎
And modeling, and a bunch more :)

Do you ever have sound programming days Doc? Or do you buy soundsets or pay someone to create them?

Sounds like the CS-80 with effects. Is it the soundtrack for Blade Runner 2401
? By the way, you mixed three songs. Elvis as well.
You ! You are special ;))
is nice : )
not a gear snob, but that's some neat stuff
Nearly 5 grand, would love to see a rack version of it.
Beautiful synth. Price is very ouchy though. I'm sure there are plenty who bought them though.
Lyle Mays eternal!
I love 💕 jou
Confusing, I thought C-15 had to be a Yamaha
Like an analog DX7, best of both worlds
That echo/reverb wowwwwww my c15 just doesnt grt that sound
この動画ではシンセサイザーとして本当に価値あるものかどうかは判らない

And again a tiny tiny screen. I think it is about 2 or 3 inches. It will probably be an expensive synth and then such a screem
It’s not an iPhone.
