Great review. I have the same trike and they added parking brakes to mine. Very nice feature. I have well over 1200 miles on mine now and love it. I rode mine 21 miles today.
Hey guys, thanks for this video. My handicap wifee had to give up her F3T Spyder just over 2 years ago and there was a void in our lives. I sold my Spyder 2 months after we sold hers. We watched your video about E-Trikes and focused on 1 statement you guys said. "You don't even need to pedal this E-Trike". Since wifee only has 1 leg due to birth defect we thought this would get her mobile again. We were right, she loves her E-Trike so I bought me an E-Bike 1 month later. We love riding again. Thanks for the video and God Bless..... Donald and Mary Berry
Oh my gosh. You really pulled on my heart strings. I use my trike multiple times a day and love it. I'm so glad this brought you the opportunity to ride again.
Thank you for a very nice presentation. I will probably buy one of these for myself. I will be 77 years old pretty soon. I can peddle a non-motor trike a couple of miles or so without much problem, but any hills are a bit of a problem. But I ain’t gettin’ any younger! Thanks guys!
Great review! I have watched sbout 11 or 12 reviews of this trike and yours was the FIRST to mention the Cruise Control function.👍 Only mistake was saying this has 4"x20" tires: they are actually 3"x20". Not that big a deal. 😉 Enjoy and stay safe!
I know, the cruise control is sort of a secret, but cool. You're right 3" not 4". I'm surprised they didn't catch that in their review before we posted.
You guys are the best. As a fellow B Boomer, I could definitely use this. however, I wonder if I could rig up a extra seat behind the drivers seat, that's either welded or bracketed securely on the basket or possibly the frame itself? Hopefully it could support the weight!
That is a cool trike, and you don't have to remember to put your feet down when you stop, and it should really come with mirrors. It needs a hitch on the back to hook the "Dude" wagon on to it. Now you have to remember the rules of the road, only one beer per wheel, so when you go to the restaurant, it's a 3 beer limit. But I didn't see how many beers it to to put it together.😲😲
That's the good part...no feet to put down when you stop. I think it should come with a mirrors too, but they do sell them separately. We already bought the cover for it.
Wow ...thats cool...Jeanne was talking about something like this not long ago...like it...thanks..I think.😮..I'm going to have to keep watch on my credit card 😮
I'm sold on that ....what a great little trike , it wouldnt suprise me if you got a second one to have one each , it certainly had plenty of likeability factor , really useful bit of kit , I wonder if they ship to the uk
Glossed over the weight which is a major concern for anyone who would want a tricycle. One brief mention the shipping box was over a hundred pounds and the assembled trike was about 114 pounds. That's heavy for me to hoist up into a vehicle. Compare that to the weight or the Lectric trike which weighs....what? Weight of e-bikes is downplayed or ignored as if unimportant. It's important. Believe it.
i ordered mine two days ago....looking forward to riding....i have had a rad runner 1 for almost three years now with no suspension which is a bit rough.....
@@WattsOnWheelsI ordered a velotric on Amazon 500 off add (don’t buy from that Amazon store) which never shipped , I’m just now getting back my refund Amazon protects the shopper 😊😊😊 so how long is shipping on this item you heard back from anyone …really like to get some riding while it’s warm done 😊😊
I am wondering if you have experienced any high-pitched squealing from the rear of your trike like alot of us have found recently? Wondering what to do about it?
I think I've had it up to 16mph with nothing in the baskets and you know we ain't skinny. Holds up to 350 pounds. Have had front and back baskets full of groceries...no problem. Use it multiple times a day.
i have been riding mine a lot for about three weeks....had a bit of a problem adjusting the seat height....mine came with all the fenders on...no shock for the back wheels so i got a seat expansion post which absorbs all the bumps in the back....i like it a lot but no way to contact an actual person, have to do all communications by email....no mooncool dealers/shops in america...
Yep, I have to contact them via email too, but have been very successful with that. We are going to be getting another one which is a brand new one called the PRO. We'll do a video on that one in future. We really like this trike.
B.S. I just bought this Mooncool garbage. I even had to build the flippin breaks. Took it my local bike shop for assembly, and even they said it was a pain. They're a company that has been in my home town for more than 40 years. Now that it is assembled it jerks around and pulls in both directions; depending on weather you're going uphill or downhill. Never buy this garbage.
Fits got hydraulic brakes where do you put the hydraulic oil lol😂 it don't have hydraulic brakes it has disc brakes which is not hydraulic it has ran with a cable it makes you not sound that smart when you don't know what you're talking about that's no phun intended
OK smarty pants, they are hydraulic disc brakes and there is a reservoir on the top of the brake levers. You may want to check your facts before making yourself sound not so smart.
Great review. I have the same trike and they added parking brakes to mine. Very nice feature. I have well over 1200 miles on mine now and love it. I rode mine 21 miles today.
They sent us the new brakes to retro fit on to the trike. 😀 But we just got the new TK Pro Trike and will be doing a video on it. We use ours alot.

I've been looking at all kinds of electric trikes for a while and was wandering about Mooncool. Thanks for sharing this! Your video was very helpful!
Glad the video was helpful. I use it everyday and glad I have it.
Same here - thinkin Lectra XP

We think you could if you don't exceed the 350 pound weight.
@@WattsOnWheels That's geat, cause she's not that heavy! (LOL)
@@WattsOnWheels So I found the solution without needing to build one. It's called the E-bike Rickshaw ua-cam.com/video/neZ0voMhhz4/v-deo.html

You are welcome. Thanks so much for watching.
Good job on getting it together Dave. Definitely. Looks like a pretty cool e-bike.
Really liking it. Great to haul my tools around in.
Thank you for the review. I bought the TK-1 today using your discount code and came back later and used the other code for the helmet and lock.
Oh that's great. We appreciate that and hope you really enjoy it.
How does the shock lockout work? Mine appears to be locked. I’m a big guy and they don’t move.
Wow ...thats cool...Jeanne was talking about something like this not long ago...like it...thanks..I think.😮..I'm going to have to keep watch on my credit card 😮
LOL. I bet you guys would love it. Dave has been toting his tools up and down the dock with it.

That's a good question. They might ship there. We really like it.
Got to get me one of those strikes it looks awesome guys
We are loving it.
Yeah, this one might be on the top of my list now. I was looking at the Addmotor E310 over this one, but this one has a trailer hitch.
So far we are liking it a lot.
First time I’ve seen you folks - you are fun! I’d go camping with you anytime! 😂 Thanks for this video. I have one coming this week for my wife.
That's awesome. So glad you found us. Hope you enjoy our videos and enjoy your new trike.

Agreed! Yes, that's why we mentioned the weight. It definitely isn't one to just throw into the back of a truck.
Look at the Lectric reviews on condition it shows up in and the bearings go out in rear and nobody fixes them out 1400$ giant paper weight
Great review!😂
Thanks for watching. We use it multiple times a day.
Where did you get the instructions for using the monitor? I had no clue about the cruise or any of that. Thanks a bunch
We got all our info from the manual that came with it.
I just got one of these and it does have parking brakes on both sides of the handlebars.
Yes, the new ones do. They actually just sent us the new brakes so we will have to change them out to have a parking brake too.
i ordered mine two days ago....looking forward to riding....i have had a rad runner 1 for almost three years now with no suspension which is a bit rough.....
Great. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours. We use it several times a day.

No I haven't...could it be the brakes??? I have had a clicking noise that doesn't seem to affect anything. We think that just might be the spokes.
What a cute little bike! It’s sweet!
It really is! Thx for watching.
I think I'm gonna get one. How fast did you clock the speed with how heavy of load?

Great trike. How long did it actually take you to assemble it? It took us hours but I noticed you skipped a lo and speeded up the video,
About 45 min to an hour
Hi. You folks did a great job with your video. I just ordered one and now it comes with a parking brake. Can’t wait to get it. Tony B.
Oh that's awesome. We hope you like yours as much as we like ours. We have a rubber band for a barking brake...LOL
Thank you. I was looking for one trying to make up my mind.❤❤❤❤ Hi dude
We really like this one. Great quality. Dude says hi.
Thats awesome! Now, where will you put the bike inDixie? Or will this just be for houseboat?
Right now for the houseboat. Possibly put it on the back of the truck behind the Spyders.
Thanks!
No problem!
Very cool
It is. Sure comes in handy.
I bought a Puckipuppy, it's the hardcore version of this brand.
Awesome. Hope you enjoy it.
Where will / could u carry that wide 3 wheel bike with Leroy, Dixie & Zippy? Where would u put it in /on ur rig?
If we decide to take it with us, we will strap it down beside the Spyders on the back of the truck bed.

How do you charge it
We explain that later in the video. It comes with a charger and you can charge the battery in or out of the bike. The battery is under the seat.
prices ??
check out there website to see all the different options. Not cheap. www.mooncool.com
Green, the moon is made of Green cheese.
😏.
All you had to do was take off the four lil white caps and pull up the box to take off you made it a lot harder
LOL...well there you have it. Next time we'll know.
How much is it (as filmed)?
$1600. without discount. Thanks
I don't believe the price has gone up since we filmed it. Try our code WOW150 and see if you will get more off on top of the sale.
I have two E-Bikes, charge in side the trailer !
Read the batt. Instruction ‼️‼️‼️‼️
