Prestige 2PK F5J Windy Maiden Flight

- Maiden flight of a Samba Prestige 2PK Windy. This is the model I installed the IDS system on. First flights went very smooth. Very nice model.
Flying weight was 1490 grams or around 52oz, which is about 12 oz heavier than my standard light Prestige. Of course bigger motor and servos used in this model.

47 years ago. I test fly a 2 chanel glider on a slope for a friend. first thing he said .don't go high . it was head level.
if you arent using the templates from rc-soar.com for your setups on frsky you should defo take a look, i use the f3f one on my tango and it works amazingly well, can get the movements all perfect
I don't use Frsky, but the owner of this model uses the templates you mention.
Couldn't agree more - big pussycats. My Nan Xplorer is probably the easiest and best plane I've ever flown.

I have been flying 45 years .and still get apprehensive on the 1st flights. it's normal.
Whats funny... I never measure weight or throw or anything. I only do CG with sight or feel on the stick. Honestly I don't care if it works for me. I don't fly comp. or events.. i just push it in the air and enjoy.. and nobody but me cares.
What feels best works best. 😉
как то не впечатляют летные характеристики современных пепелацев, я понимаю что Марк Дрела это имя в аэродинамике и его ядро с Навье Стоксом признано во всем мире , но это азбука . Строить модели с такими управляющими моментами и коэффицентами устойчивости выглядит не совсем разумно.

Gay and transpeople exist, so you shouldn't have any problems with UA-cam to mention us. It would be more of a problem if you actively excluded us. Nice planes BTW. I've flown combat gliders almost exclusively but I'd love to thermal too, so this is relevant to my interests.
Why would I exclude anyone?
