It seems Shofu only uploads when it’s music, a new Pokémon game, or a random episode of Japan Time.
@@isaiahfreecos2075 Recently yeah but I'm pretty sure this is the first time Shofu didn't upload his reaction to pokemon related news, or a separate edited video discussing his thoughts. His twitch numbers in terms of revenue gained from subs is better than youtube anyway so I guess it makes sense to leave things there

im gonna need gamefreak to stop pretending like people actually care about completing the pokedex. im sure there are people that do and thats their prerogative but most people are just gonna catch the ones they like/are strong and ignore the rest.
the base building in the remakes is a good idea, but if its only going to be used to spawn specific pokemon people aren't going to care about it for long except if you're into shiny hunting or completing the pokedex. cant say the same for pokemon training because that would require removing all the changes in sword and shield that made that aspect easier/less tedious.
and it seems like completing the pokedex is the whole point of legends arceus which is turn off to me. its like playing a game about doing homework
Idk man I’m one of those people, I love the idea of it. I definitely get where you’re coming from though, it can feel extremely tedious at times.
It seems like there will be more to do than that I’m not sure tho, I have high hopes, maybe I’m being too hopeful.
@@ubelsimp that's good that you enjoy it. It's still something to do. I just feel like we've been passed the point where completing the pokedex is a main selling point of these games, especially since they're removing pokemon from the dex entirely and rehashing old regions. The dex shouldn't be removed entirely but it shouldn't get more focus than exploration and interaction with your buddies (pokemon or otherwise).
@@darkice60000 I think the main difference here is that rather than a tedium and side hustle that you would work on during and after the base game, as with previous mainline games, it seems like an actual ingame process that seems thought out. (I would hope so if it’s the main forefront in terms of story progression.)
With the addition of unique personalities and dispositions to each Pokémon, seamless battles, varied environments, then the natural gameplay flow should be fine. The fact that we actually have only ONE game version shouts the dex is completable. But I understand the turn off of a Pokédex completion esc game. The only actual mechanic that made me lose it from the first trailer was the dodge roll (which is action eccentric), not the ball throwing.
And multiple different arrays of people play Pokémon. It could be specifically for story, or getting a Pokémon for a competitive team, maybe even the story, so to each their own.
Yeah put that in Real Pokemon my +6 Regi Eleki should be blitzing you 6 times against your level 5 before you can do any damage. Along with putting the score on the screen. :)
Pokémon always skrunches/chibies characters since gen1 its lazy now

@shofu only reason why you don't like sword and shield is because it wasn't top down just admit it you don't like to control your character completely you just don't like something new. The Pokemon company doesn't cater to only You sir
