Something to consider is for the fishing kit get some snell hooks. That way you have the small hook already attached to some fishing line. If you're in a survival situation your dexterity may not be there to thread the small hook specially with paracord.

Thankfully there is still a Dollar store near by and a video EJ made to guide ya. Trust me I'd be going to a Dollar tree myself, if i need a survival bag. :)
