You have to study building and construction, structures, estimation, technical drawing, surveying and costing thats what's make architect all rounder it ain't easy if you add calculus
Really informative video... I humble request... If possible, do you mind making a video series where you take us through the process of making an architectural plan for a simple house, right from paper to using a CAD software, complete with how to write the detailed notes, abbreviations and all the standards to be followed by an architect.... It would really be of help to uscwho are starting out, but have no sense of structure...
Incredible content! Thanks for sharing. Any chance you can show us all of that in a digital format? Just to appreciate all the details of the plans. It would be amazing. Good job, greetings from Peru. 🙌
I came for that information at (16:19) As a beginner, I didn't know I have that much liberty with where on the page I should place the General Notes (and Details) information.
Very good information. I am studying architecture, and I would like to study more how plans are made. Would you happen to have the plans for download by any chance?
many different professionals come together to make the set. Here we have arch, landscape, structural, civil etc. I’ve definitely done sets that were much smaller and simpler
@@architect_talk All sort of details trouble me haha. Although I want to keep my designs detailed , I just dont know how to create nor read detailed plans.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I’m disappointed with the quality. This was a tiktok live that I downloaded from the app. Despite the poor quality I figured I’d upload anyway (not thinking it would perform that well) For future content I will prioritize high res video 👍🏼
You’re right about the quality. This video was from a tiktok live and admittedly it didn’t save at a high res. Will consider for the future. I’m only aware of creating 3-D print files via modeling and slicing software. So sketch up, rhinoceros, Ultimaker etc
@@architect_talk there don't seem to be many videos where they take a drawing and build something out of 2X4s from it, or walk through a framed structure and point out the details in the drawing and what it actually looks like.
Liked it down to earth, I am an electrical instructor and this is part of the curriculum and I try to seek different ways to present the lessons
Thanks for the feedback!
I’m a Building construction tech student, this video is really helpful, very well done 👍

Thank you, I Will keep in mind for future content. This video was taken from my tiktok live and unfortunately the quality did not prevail
thanks so much. God Bless.

They are the property of Austin fox, so I would have to ask him first. Will keep you posted !
Wow lots of plans for a simple 2 family unit. Bet the professionals really clean up on the fees!

Thank you! Would you say the plans would allow a DIYer to build by themselves?
if the plans are good enough, and depending on your experience level, then potentially yes.
