I think the bigger issue that people are concerned about is that they moved in together and got engaged a just few months after his wife died. That’s stranger than the age gap.

For 3 months i helped him with chores, the son and got him help by a professional. Then corona came and i decided i had to help him with home schooling of his son, so he can work on his thesis. Well h esaid without me he'd probably ended up in a clinic. But he met a new woman and replaced me within 2 weeks. They may be “different” but honestly this is one of the few “love don’t judge” couples that feel pure and genuine. They both come across as just sweet normal people. He already had a son (at 17 his then gf didn't tell him she stopped taking the pill) and was working full time and also a taking care of his son. He had a burn out and i just had to help him. For 3 months i helped him with chores, the son and got him help by a professional. Then corona came and i decided i had to help him with home schooling of his son, so he can work on his thesis. Well h esaid without me he'd probably ended up in a clinic. But he met a new woman and replaced me within 2 weeks. Some people seem like the nicest and you do everything for them and it's still not enough...
