    Another great vlog. I've never grown berlotto beans so I've ordered them for next year. I'll also be trying the Big Mama tomatoe 😁 I'm a vegan so growing foods for future meals appeals. I have been making chutneys, pickles, sauces etc this year as well as just blanching and freezing. I'm not wishing my life away but I can't wait for next year to grow some new varieties. Thank you for your vlogs and your knowledge.

      Me too I preserve so much stuff. I've been so busy doing it this year. That's why I'm not able to get as many vids out.
      Love berlotto beans 😋. That's the thing for growing food. Always excited for the following year and new things 😊.
      Thanks for the support 🙏

    😂 sad isn’t it they go green when cooked but I like them as they are easier to find. My beans were not as prolific as last year but my fault I didn’t grow enough and slugs got a lot early on. Ahh love the idea of a warm stew come winter. Fab tour Helen hope it’s a great weekend, Ali 🌞🇨🇦

      Awww the dreaded slug munchers 😓. Lost so much this year from them. Just glad I've got some harvest. Have a great week Ali 😀

      The damn things still get in. 😩. It will be bullet proof next year 😅. Famous last words 😂. Just removing the caterpillars when seen onto some sacrifice plants.

      What a shame. Theta the problem with being so tall. A few of mine have fallen over. I'll be interested to see how big the tubers are this year. Since I planted more. But the plants arnt as vigorous this year. I'll replant mine after harvesting about oct/Nov depending on what time I have. Been such a busy year.

    Hi, what variety are the tall growing green beans at the start of the video

      Think it was mamba, could have been issabel or the purple was violet podded. All did incredible well this year. Great cropping

      @@oddsocksgrowing thanks. We are looking for a tall green variety rather than dwarf. They got slug damage

      That's why I went with the taller varieties. We had a great crop of dwarf last year. But an incredible amount of damage from slugs.

      @oddsocksgrowing same here. I'm still battling slugs & caterpillars 🦋 😔
      Our first year growing everything in our garden. We've got a greenhouse & polytunnel plus a huge raised bed. We've learnt we need to make smaller beds & get the enviromesh on faster. Just starting to get the odd ripe tomato.
      Chilli pepper plants are doing well I think and mini munch f1 cucumber plants have been tremendous. We've grown some marketmore outside too. I bought some carmen f1 cucumber seeds but they turned out to be marketmore as well. Very disappointed with that. Hopefully next year we will have much better stable weather. I'm in South Yorkshire
