Loved my 79 & wish I still had it. The 460 should make yours get up & dance. Old school 427 or 428 in the 60's truck might work. Have you checked LMC Truck for complete floor pans, they may have the rear piece. I go there for stuff for my 49.

Hey we were all 16 once, also stock trucks were a lot slower in the 90s

I was just going to make it! Just a flat sheet with a 45* bend
