One of our favorite Agua frescas(not spa water) is essentially an iced Hibiscus tea we call Jamaica (Ha-my-ka). We've been drinking it for many years in 🇲🇽.

No better to avoid hybrid color flowers. Nati red hibiscus is good.

It turns red on reaction with acids. When few drops of lemon juice is poured in hibiscus tea, the tea turns red. Lemon is sour in taste which is an acid. All the substances with sour taste have the property of changing colour with hibiscus tea.
