I picked up one of these badboys dirt cheap for a vocal recording and they really kick! If you are into lo-fi type styles you can't go wrong. Really unique character. Love the weight and the feel as well
Thanks for your comment. I'm thinking of using it vocally on some future songs. For the price it's really great for either vocals or harmonica. I do like lo-fi / chillout types of genres.. just have not recorded any of those lately. Happy New Year.
Thanks for comment, sorry for the late reply.. I'm getting back into UA-cam and the video reviews as my Father passed suddenly away in January... I'm getting back to it all... I'll tell you one thing, I actually own "two" of of these.. Same model. The price (at that time) was better than other brands. The build quality is really good and both of them are holding up well still. I need to do a few more harmonica reviews using it. Like I've said on my videos, other UA-cam channels out there get paid big money for reviews and have a constant stream of free products and gain a lot of viewers attention and subscribers. They also get paid UA-cam monetization per each view as well.. Again big money rolling.... I don't. Once in while, companies will send me gear to use for my original music I write and record to help me out. What makes me a bit different, is I'm actually a real songwriter/composer professional under performance rights organization, BMI, Inc. Other gear that I review, I actually buy. I play a bit over 15 instruments give or take. I MAY tried to do another review on a electric guitar this coming weekend. Time is always against me.. LOL.. that's the problem. The manual indicates that D112/C is good to be mounted on stand with volume knot change to a 5/8" x 27T screw adaptor. I wonder of how do we do that change as I cannot find any info about this subject. Could you please help.

Hey man, cool review. Sorry if this is a dumb question but can this be plugged direct into a guitar amp? I’m wanting to build a guitar like Jack White uses with a mic built in and think it’s a mic like this.
Thanks for your comment, I was really feeling a bit low today, and I'm glad people are commenting on my videos. Actually, your question is a great one... I actually do setup and upgrade all of my electric and acoustic guitars as well. Yes, this is a high impedance bullet microphone that can go right to a guitar amp, a lot harmonica players (like me) uses small amps as you can crank the amp up and it really "honks" (distorts a bit). And yes, this mic just like the bullet mic that Jack White is using for vocals. In regards to how he has a bullet mic in his guitar as a part of it.. that is VERY COOL, I never knew that he had a guitar like that! When you sing through the mic it has that higher tonality to it. (Continued) Now, I could not find any wiring diagrams on line, but I did find a post about the guitar. It is some sort of a gretsch model that that he modified to have 3 tv jones pickups installed in it. And then he had a bullet harmonica mic loaded in on a cable winder. The guitar technician replaced the housing on the harmonica mic from aluminum to wood so the harmonica wouldnt break the wood of the guitar when it was hard winded in (basically let go by Jack and auto winded in). I hope you are able to make this, it's a pretty awesome idea. I'm trying to complete an acoustic type of album before the end of year, and I'm using this microphone. Like I put in my video, the one that I received, is a quality build.
