This video is a good example of how important your set up is & also how your set up reflects the terrain you Crawl on. The rear steering definitely gives you an advantage. Awesome video as usual, Logan.
That rear tire line with the pink truck: Thats why I run extremely soft inserts in the rear.. I found its more beneficial overall as the rears help the front. So with overdrive and soft rears the rears won't spin as much, they will wrap around the rock giving your fronts a big boost. It works really well. Im actually Supet Soft in the rear and Soft in the front.
The part @ 18:48 was insane from both trucks. Just installed your servo mount on a Capra with SCX10 Pro straight axles and the fit is perfect. Great kit 👍
The 13:10 climb was super impressive! How you both utilized the crack differently with your track widths and tires opened my eyes a bit. I thought he wasn't going to get it without that front right hook like yours had but then up it went!!!
Just started running the crawlers, buddy of mine and i went out last weekend and 4 trucks, 2 stances on pro xs and tusks, a jeep scx10 on tusks and my pro on crawlers did better than all of them. Im sold. Tusks are still great tires though.
Another thing I noticed on my own time is a truck to slammed is actually not as capable as the perfect height. I found that out fast. Yes terrain matters, but overall, I think it has more advantages.
Did you use the links provided with the Rum Runner kit using the Capra Axles? Looks like it works great with the Capra axles and I happen to have a pair of steer axles on the shelf. Thanks for the great videos.
Has anyone had issues with their servos getting hot using the SOA mount on the Pro Portal? I’ve tried 3 different brand servos, adjusted endpoints, and tried different length servo horns. All servos were direct power so it’s not a BEC issue. Servos get really hot!
20:00 dude are you serious with that?!? Idk which was better him upside down or you with that crazy ass crossover! That was some buggy $#1t! This might be your best video yet!
What’s with the Fordyce sticker?I really can’t believe how much better the rum runner is than the kraken….wish they were both rear steer for comparison. I’m getting ready to build a kraken chassis!🤣
Great vid! Would a Dlux Capra Sporty LCG servo mount work on the front of your rig with the Rum Runner chassis/trans combo your running? Or the rear for that matter?
This is a really good video format with two trucks running. More please.
Upside down V notch was insane
Right!

Amazing video! Great looking truck and fantastic driving!👍👍😃
On our rocks, it don’t count until you’ve done it twice. That said, that crack climb Conner made was sick! 😎
Well he did that before I recorded then did it again on camera so there ya go lol
This is the way
Can we hear more of Connors voice its so dreamy

Solid wheelin dudes!🔥🤘
Thanks dude!
HANG GANG! Awesome looking trucks guys!
2:57 I lol’ed when you said “well that wasn’t ideal”
Epic lines conquered there wow
Awesome crawling there, from you guys. Seems you had a great time on the rocks.🏴☠️👍
That coyote body is so sweet!
🤘🍻🤘
To be honest, the tires on the pink truck are definitely "not ideal" for that terrain. The Ding Dong Mobile was killing it though!
They were brand new, after scrubbing the oils off they were starting to really hook up. They drove plenty of hard lines

I was looking to get those new Dlux tires but I guess I'll stick to me PL G8 Krawlers for now
I think people can get an idea of just how hard some of the lines are that you're fooling now
How the hell are you doing 4WS and video at same time?!?! 🤙🏻I’ve heard nothing but good things on Dlux’s new tire. May have to grab a set myself
GoPro and rear steer with my right hand. Throttle and front steer with my left hand
Another thing I noticed on my own time is a truck to slammed is actually not as capable as the perfect height.

If you had to pick between the rum runner on f10 portals or a vrd what would you pick
that Kraken Pro is struggling
It’s on brand new tires..
I mean complete props on the line at 20.00
Thanks!

Yes the kit links bolt right up

I honestly haven’t been too impressed with my rum runner. I need to keep tuning I guess…
Dang, nice vid! Do those swampers on Connors rig really not work very well? Was considering grabbing some.
after getting the oils off of them and breaking them in a little i am really liking them
Where's the build video for this rig?
20:00 dude are you serious with that?!? Idk which was better him upside down or you with that crazy ass crossover! That was some buggy $#1t! This might be your best video yet!
Much appreciated I don’t know that I could ever do it that good again but I’m glad I was recording haha
hi Logan, where i can find your steerin wheel gadget to drive one hand??? thanks😊
My friend 3D printed me one
What’s with the Fordyce sticker?I really can’t believe how much better the rum runner is than the kraken….wish they were both rear steer for comparison. I’m getting ready to build a kraken chassis!🤣
I was at his place and put a Fordyce sticker on it as a joke and he never took it off haha
How are you filming this? GoPro or delete? Attached to transmitter?
I use a GoPro on a small handle and I hold it in my right hand
Great vid! Would a Dlux Capra Sporty LCG servo mount work on the front of your rig with the Rum Runner chassis/trans combo your running? Or the rear for that matter?
The front didn’t work out I tried it
We all know who is the better driver
Not true we had very different trucks. Connor can definitely drive
@westdesertwheeler you're the best driver out of all the youtube channels I've been watching.
I thought doogan was a good one. Lol.
