Holyyy shiiiit, dude I’ve been sampling for years and this is like the most Impressive/advanced sampling I’ve ever seen on UA-cam. This really inspired me to get level up my sample skills🔥🔥 you’re ill bro !!
At first I was a bit confused about the way you arranged the song but I took a second to think about how you wanted to make a completely different song and that’s cool. I was under the impression that you would remix this song but it is not a requirement to solely make remixes in this genre. Just for others to keep in mind. I think your final product was cool :)
Sampleing tech is dope. I NEVER expected those hard efforts on future funk cuz most of people are just using whole song even without chopping it. Truly loved and impressed
I just got in the hobby, I was directed to this video by someone on Reddit. I just want to say that, as someone with little to no experience, this DOES look difficult, but at the same time it's straight to the point and really shows that if you have creativity, you can really turn chops into notes and build a song from there. Subbed, and hopefully I'll come out with something good later on!
Órale Rhodosu-san, ya sube ese delicioso album que toda la comunidad hispana espera. P.D. Me encanta que estés teniendo mayor reconocimiento en los lares del Future Funk, ¡Ya hasta Artzie Music ha subido tus tracks!
I basically repeat the lower notes that were on the chops, using my ear and sometimes using an eq to help me hear the low frequencies better. Then I added some extra notes to make it groove!
im not big on the creative process of making music so i wasnt really aware of how its made at all. but holy shit i never knew this song was sampled from plastic love. i heard 0 resemblance! thats extremely impressive to me!
what's your process for selecting snippets? do you come up with the idea for the sequence in your mind and then just find the sounds to match your idea?
I usually select the snippets by try and error, experimenting using FL Studio's tools and then developing the idea with the ideas that come to my mind while I'm working on it. I'll make a video about that topic soon :)
Nice one m8! Thanks for your great tutorial! Now I could make my own piece! :D Btw, who the hell dislike this? This must be the one who can't appreciate a e s t h e t i c at all.
man how didi you do the bass sound? love it? i Mean if you could make a tutorial about the inner components of the Virtual synth would be awqesome anyway Big Up n Kudos Man, Great stuff goin on here
@@RhodesRodosu GRGE es un productor que comparte tutoriales de varios generos,e hizo un tuto de How to Future Funk... Es bueno ,pero sin lugar a dudas tu técnica es mejor y tus tracks están a otro nivel...¡¡
As someone who never really "got it," this video made me apreciate remixing and sampling culture a whole lot more than I used to
3:36 the firsts notes remided me to a cruel angel's thesis
THIS will always be the "this is how Future Funk should be done" video for me. Love your chops, Rhodes.

Two years later - This flip is fucking amazing!!! thank you for this !!!
I know this is an oks video but where did you get your drums from?
That's the most impressive sampling I've ever seen in my entire life.
Fucking killed it, and none of that "lets just take the sample and put a filter and some tape stop on it" bullcrap. Really good job!
absolutely insane
most advanced sample breakdown I've ever seen since Daft Punk's High Fidelity. Bravo!
You might just be my favorite future funk artist now, this is sooo good

Super impressive and also inspiring, so thanks duuude! 💜
That's impressive. I love choppy samples, it's more creative and not lazy like many future funk artists. did you make the bass for this track?
I basically repeat the lower notes that were on the chops, using my ear and sometimes using an eq to help me hear the low frequencies better. Then I added some extra notes to make it groove!
FYI: Besides the eq low pass, u can use fl plugin "Edison" to detect pitch regions, will help u find low frequencies keys quickly.
Future Funk done right! Fantastic tutorial

i love this so much also what plugin did you use for the bass?
I used Diva by U-he
im not big on the creative process of making music so i wasnt really aware of how its made at all. but holy shit i never knew this song was sampled from plastic love. i heard 0 resemblance! thats extremely impressive to me!
