Signs To Recognize The Antichrist | Fr. Dumitru Staniloae | New Romanian Orthodox Saints
Вставка
- Опубліковано 13 жов 2024
- In this video recording, Fr. Dumitru Stăniloae (✝1993), one of the greatest Romanian Orthodox theologians, talks about the twisted intelligence, pride, and cunning of the antichrist who deceives many while still bearing traces of God's image. He also talks about the subtle and deceptive nature of evil, and the stark contrast between false progress and true goodness according to Orthodox teachings.
Fr. Dumitru was imprisoned for 5 years due to his faith during the oppressive Communist Regime in Romania. The Romanian Orthodox Church has approved the canonization of 16 new saints during the synodal sessions held on July 11-12th 2024. Holy Confessor Priest Dumitru Stăniloae is one of them. They will be officially recognized as saints in 2025.

You may hear same things from someone else, but this Man is transmitting the Truth to you, defacto.
A small suggestion, if you can make the transition on screen larger so people with aging eyes can see it.
I dont think he can change this. Maybe you can do it in your own youtube settings
You should be able to change the font size of the captions. Watch this: ua-cam.com/video/TaWXnfH7PZo/v-deo.html

The muslim mahdi is the antichrist
I don't think so. I think it will be someone else. A magician.
“The Antichrist will not close churches or set them on fire, as was done before, but will fill them with Christians who will be baptized, confess, receive communion, perform good deeds, but actually will not believe in Christ, but in the Antichrist. He will deceive the world by pretending to be Christ and will try to imitate Him in everything.
Saint Hippolytus writes: He will perform many false miracles, at the beginning he will be filled with humility, quiet and full of love towards everyone, he will be pious, a peacemaker, he will hate injustice, he will not be bribed by gifts, he will love the Holy Scriptures, he will respect the priesthood and spiritual elders, he will flatter the young, he will condemn adultery, oppose injustice, love foreigners, help the poor, give gifts to orphans, take care of widows, prophesy future events, raise the dead, give sight to the blind, be free of greed, attract people, and everyone will esteem and love him. And the world will exclaim: Let us appoint him as our king, for such a saint and righteous man does not exist anywhere in today's world. But he will refuse to take the royal position, in order to appear humble and holv. But as soon as he eventually becomes king and his true infernal nature is revealed, Woe to all those who believed in him. Then the entire universe will lament. Those who are dead will envy the living and curse the earth to open and swallow them in graves.”
Thank you

only God says who are saints. all saved are saints
Humility
Yes you are right. There are many things only God can say, and some of these He chooses to reveal to us.
And also God gives to some of us revelations with the saints, that's why we recognize them!

Humility
Father couldn't take care of his son.
Are you sure about that? You can't tell what he's done.
@RatzY11 His son was tortured to death on the cross, and he did nothing to help.Even animals do all their might to protect their offspring .
@aku7598 Did you forget he rose from the dead. He descended into where all the dead who before him dwelled for millenias and ages since the dawn of humanity and freed them triumphantly leading them all out of Hades. Defeating death forever.
@aku7598 His son came to this world to die sacrificially. He would not have come if not to die for our sins. He suffered for our sake the consequences of our sins - death. And by his sacrificial death he redeemed our fallen nature so that through him we can be saved. It was the ultimate act of love, the ultimate sacrifice and in so the ultimate victory. He offered himself as a ransom for the reconciliation of mankind.
@DunsQuintus-sb7zo everyone dies. Some with excruciating cancer pains. Some with accidents. Many died on the cross by the Romans. Why a single person death so important. 10 billions already death. Many suffering before death , worse than death on the cross.
until the rapture the ac is unknown
The idea of a "rapture" is man-made, non-biblical and, thus, heretical.
Rapture is not a biblical principle. Neither is post-millenialism. Father Peter Heers from Orthodox Ethos debunks this. I suggest you check it out. May the Lord bless you with His mercy and grace!
@@Chaoslordgladiuseven most Baptists recognize that the rapture is a heretical teaching because it is unbiblical.

Regarding the term rapture and its use in theology the following should answer your questions. It is taken from Ryrie’s Basic Theology, Electronic Media from Parsons Technology.
Our modern understanding of rapture appears to have little or no connection with the eschatological event. However, the word is properly used of that event. Rapture is a state or experience of being carried away. The English word comes from a Latin word, rapio, which means to seize or snatch in relation to an ecstasy of spirit or the actual removal from one place to another. In other words, it means to be carried away in spirit or in body. The Rapture of the church means the carrying away of the church from earth to heaven.
The Greek word from this term “rapture” is derived appears in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, translated “caught up.” The Latin translation of this verse used the word rapturo. The Greek word it translates is harpazo, which means to snatch or take away. Elsewhere it is used to describe how the Spirit caught up Philip near Gaza and brought him to Caesarea (Acts 8:39) and to describe Paul’s experience of being caught up into the third heaven (2 Cor. 12:2-4). Thus there can be no doubt that the word is used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 to indicate the actual removal of people from earth to heaven.
***Editor's Note: The Latin Vulgate actually used a different form of the same verb-- "Rapiemur" instead of "Rapturo." The point and connections Ryrie is making remain the same.***
