Great interview and is was a lot of fun to listen to. I love hearing about how he wants to give the smaller operations the spotlight, but will do a series on some of the larger mead producers as well. A rising tide lifts all boats. Having these larger meaderies gain exposure and availability will only make it easier for the “little guys” to grow. Hopefully Oklahoma can gain more meaderies and meads on the shelf soon!
I hope we can get more meads on too!
Been catching up on your videos and it makes me want to get back into making some more videos and not just post of FB or IG. But it's hard to "compete" with you or several others because yall got it down to a T. Keep it up, I'm loving what you are doing.

Tbh I actually want to try that taco mead.
Now I know what happened to TK after digimon.
So I looked online for buying meads and I cant seem to find bochets. I want to try it before I attempt to make one. Now, I live in NJ and cant get direct deliveries so I didnt look too hard, but do commercial makers not really make bochets?
Very few commercial mead makers do bochet a because they are hard to reproduce and they fall into a weird category of mead that has some extra liquor laws

Wow green tomato mead? That sounds interesting. I gotta check out Oppegaard Meadery, I'm not too far from them. Looks like they might be dry and high abv. The way I like it. @UC9x2TWGpCoBMy4CzsefRahw Do you have a fav mead from Oppegaard?

Sorry for the delay, I just saw this comment. The standard Blueberry from Oppegaard Meadery is probably my go to from them, and he does a blueberry French toast variant that is to die for, my favorite I've tried from him.
But that Sköll is definitely right in the mix for top 5 as well.
What websites do you buy mead from? I'm from Phoenix, so we have BevMo and Total Wine and Beverage. Also, there is a meadery nearby that I love called Scale and Feathers.
I love Scale & Feather! I use Vinoshipper for all my online purchases. A handful of places do self shipping, but generally it's going to be Vinoshipper.
Also, I'm going to be bringing in some mead from outside AZ here by the end of the year. Keep you eyes out where you buy mead locally.
