Usually the reverse is what goes first. If you keep having reverse issues without addressing the problem i could see it tarring it up for the forward gear 2. But yeah I had wear marks on the shaft itself and shavings keeping the reverse gear from sliding out.
What's happening to mine is, when I go full throttle something is slipping out of gear and when I shut she sled off and restart it, the problem corrects itself until I go full throttle again. Any idea what this is?
