I learn something with every one of these classic songs that finds it's way into my own writing or playing at some subtle level. The guitar was built for me by Mario DeSio in 2012. It's patterned after a 30s Gibson Advanced Jumbo -similar to the classic J45 but with the longer 25.5" scale. It has cocobolo back and sides and the top is salvaged from the soundboard of a 110 year old piano. It's my workhorse and is showing it's mileage, but I love it. If my house was on fire, this is the one I'd run out the door with. Thanks for the comment. -Maurice
