Even though I can’t play this song no matter how hard I try, I do know that this is a fantastic lesson in more ways than one. Thank you for sharing this with us all. 🙏 🙌
I only have one thing to say... Subscribed... This is an awesome lesson for an awesome song... And a new arrow in my quiver... Ok... Two things. I'm excited to smooth out this song and play it for my friends. Shoot... Three things...
I get that Darin’s version was a monster hit but Dave Van Ronk’s version gets to the heart of it. His guitar arrangement would also make a nice lesson.
Great song and excellent lesson, thanks. Note that the chord charts for the F#m7 in verses 1 and 2 are wrong in my printed edition of AG. The video is correct though!

The guitar was made by Bay Area luthier Mario DeSio The top of the guitar comes from a recycled 100-year-old upright piano’s soundboard. Tani told us that he “likes the idea that this piece of wood already had like a billion notes played through it before it ever became a guitar.”
Love the series! What a great idea.

Music history lesson with a guitar lesson in addition. Thanks!
That was good. We need more like that. 👍
One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite singers. Thanks. I am going to do it in a bluegrass meetup.
Awesome! One of the greatest songs of all time, and a truly wonderful pleasure to sing and play.

Wonderful! "Sunny" by Bobby Hebb can be approached this way too, no? This video was very well taught and instructive, thank you very much
Interesting how the F6 bar chord is so close to a D minor and also Bb major seventh in its fingering.
Please upload a fingerstyle blues lesson

Makes you appreciate how good Robbie Williams is......
What brand of guitar is he using? Looks like a Gibson, but the logo on the head stock is not a Gibson logo.
