I loved the concept of using an old sleeping bag and shoving the mats inside to make a comfortable mattress! By the way, I drive an old 2008 Nissan Xterra here in Canada and the rear of the Xterra can easily be used for sleeping as well. Unlike your Ford, however, the rear floor panels are extremely rigid all the way to the back and do not need any support with wooden bricks like in your vehicle. I have used my vehicle to camp near frozen lakes in the wilderness with no issues!
Friend, you've inspired me so fantastically! I've a 2018 EcoSport and your amazing adaptation has pushed me to begin my own camping load out design. Thank you so much for sharing this with us! Excellent work, much appreciated.
Bro, first of all love your content here. It's amazing, incomparable, too much quality. Have been following you for almost 2 years now. Just came here to drop a comment, this might help you a lot. Wanted to suggest you few things here: 1. You don't need to keep the car running to charge your devices. 2. Just keep monitoring your car battery from your Ceptics inverter (it has voltage indicator), don't let it get below 11 volts while in standby (as below 10 volts it would be difficult to start it) consider cold weather conditions also. If it drops to 11v just start it for a while till your standby time is again +12v(or whatever near about 12v your car shows when charged full) 3. Invest in a 12v solar charger for your car battery also, it will help your car battery to stay charged and might be after solar charger you won't need to start your car to keep it in healthy voltage range. This way you won't waste fuel, plus its less hassle. Again, love your videos to the core. ♥️
One can only imagine how you do all these things. Eagerly waiting for your new video. I have watched every video many times but still they are mesmerizing every time. Winter season is coming and hope you are going to do something new and interesting this time too. Salute to your enthusiasm... Keep it up, stay safe and healthy...
Lets see.. i hope to do something interesting this winter as well. I had to cut short my summer trip due to some medical issues at home. I hope to make up for it during the winter.

My wishes came true, a new video from Saravana to uplift my spirit which is going through a trying time. I am so happy that you have a vehicle that you can sleep in, though you cooking in it scares me. Please be very careful. Thoroughly enjoyed the video and the beautiful landscape.Looking forward to the next video. Take care and stay safe.
Great intellectual set up 👍 better than that tiring hiking, walking miles n miles. Anna, your all videos are just amazing!! It takes me virtually to those places where I'll never be able to be there...i feel like I'm also travelling getting out of my small world which gives me pure joy 😊 i wonder how you managed to make it this trip from two extreme ends i.e. South to North 👌🤗🙏
Greetings from Brazil, I found your channel because I'm building an Ecosport for travel. I'm also a Filmaker and I'm going to travel for many days to the south of Argentina and I'm adapting my car. It's a 2007 ecosport, not as advanced as the one you have. But I'll make do with what I have haha. Thank you for sharing!
I am happy to see you again. I wish and hope you must be doing fine now. You provide the rawness in your video which I am fan of. Please keep this quality always.
When after 20-25 years people would find your video in some strange bucket of the UA-cam. He or she would get to know what they have lost to see this content so early. Kudos to you.
So nice to see your new video after quite some time. Beautiful 😍 thank you and waiting for more videos. As you present the nature as it is, pure and natural
Your content is just next level . No Indian creator have this type content . Please try to add hindi language or subtitles too bro. By the way content is fantastic.
Amazing vlog, amazing car. Ford was always the sensible choice in any segment, it is sad that the company couldn't survive here. Missing ford every time I see one
Yeah.. I had the Ford Ikon for 20 years before this car. So im a bit partial to Ford. But I plan to get the Jimny next year, assuming that it is not exorbitantly priced.
wow .. I came to know about this channel in laddakh last week.. U r wonderful and living my dream life... away from rushful cities . I become very happy seeing ur videos . U r awesome .. lots of luv .
As soon I got the notification I started watching this video. Very different & very helpful video. Of course I didn't miss those overnight timelapse JUST WOW. As said in your words, the first sun-rays on the mountain peaks look molten gold.
I am very happy to see you living in the comparative comfort of a car. You may reconsider your decision to cook on open flame, on a wooden plank and that too so near to the fuel tank, petrol being so highly inflammable (as you know where a small fume leak can cause disaster.). Take care keep on rolling. God bless you dear👍
I can totally understand your concern. I have been using this MSR stove for many years now, mostly cooking inside the vestibule of my tent. I haven't had any accidents cooking in my tent, and I do not expect to have any cooking 'outside' my car as well. Infact I find these liquid fuel stoves to be much more safer than the butane canisters.
@@indiainmotion you are doing an amazing job Anna. I think @anil panta was concerned towards fuel tank of vehicle not the stove. Actually that's my concern too.
You did a good job within the limitations and have all that is needed (may be at a beginner stage but the thing is you have all and correct) Keep it up.
I own the same car and today got to know that rear seat is removable. I don’t travel much but whenever I return from my hometown to Pune. My mother fill my car with grains, snacks, pickles, spices and what not😅😅 so yes I am going to use your idea to make a flat bed and arrange things like that😊
I have been looking for a vlog like yours for a while, i live in the states and have the ecosport titanium and planning on getting new tires and gear to go camping. Will be looking out for your new content man. Great job
This is just a temporary setup. I hope to do the same thing when I get the Jimny next year. It is smaller than the EcoSport. But I hope that there would be adequate space inside for a similar setup.
I'm imagining my hector here. hector would be perfect camping car with all the features and it's lengthy enough!!! with back bench folding flat plus that huge bootspace makes comfortable space for 6x3 mattress
A drawer bed will actually reduce the livable space inside the car. The current space in my setup is perfect. I can sit normally inside the car to cook, to work or just lounge around. It would be possible if the bed platform was raised by even a couple of inches.
Nice exploring/camping setup. I’m considering purchasing an EcoSport S here in Northern California. Seems like a good, compact 4WD for weekend camping trips.
It will work well.. especially if you have some roof boxes to store stuff in. I will be doing a similar setup in my new Jimny but with roof boxes to move most of the clutter outside the car.
Wouldn't that Wooden platform on which you cook catch fire from the stove? Keeping a thin metal sheet underneath the stove may be a safer way. Awesome setup btw!
@@indiainmotion Just an idea. You can just carry one of the slate stone that is used as roofing all around Himachali houses (traditional kath-kuni styled) and keep it under the stove while cooking.
@@indiainmotion Yeah that would work nicely. Also, if you could get a Jackery Explorer 500 and the 60 W solar charger, the electrical setup would be complete. Though it is more expensive than using 2L of petrol each day.
You are one of the most influential person I have ever seen sir... I have one question.. what made you to go for car ? Yes in video you mentioned work on the move.. Apart from that anything else was bothering you that car can solve ?
I would suggest you to get canvas and stitch it according to the dimensions you want so that you can have a custom awning that can be attached to the back of your car. That way you can have a place to sit nicely without the weather hampering you and more importantly you won't be sitting inside your car and playing with fire. It's much safer and you can wax your canvas to protect you from rain as well as the occasional snow.
Absolutely, I do plan on getting a custom awning stitched for my car. However my mountain adventures have come to an end with this car and I'll be getting the Jimny in the next few months. Will be making getting a proper car camping setup with the Jimny. The Ecosport was always meant to be a temporary setup until I got the Jimny
Keep up your genuine work. We watched yiu video while searching for possibilities of sleeping in the car. In Karnataka, I'm not confident there are any places where we could even park our vehicle to enjoy the scenery and live in our vehicle. Still this looks promising.❤

Lemon rice type simple dishes perhaps? Keep rocking! My best wishes
My MSR stove runs on petrol. So I have no worries about running out of fuel for cooking as I carry spare petrol in my car. Btw, the flame from the stove never touches the plywood.
