First time in my life I am jealous to see someone using a campervan with so much of amenities I was blown away when u pull up a chair and a table out of it and I am smiling like a hell when I saw you pull roof top tent. u can rent those in Europe. they are provided by the company called "roadsurfer". afaik they even sell those cars after a certain time of duty. the basic setup u see - chairs & table/cabinets/rear benchseating still are made by VW as a stock arrangement line called "ocean" - if iam not misstaken.
By about 17 minutes I thought I'd seen as much innovation as could be fitted into one van, but when the chairs and table appeared - just wow! And for a while I thought it odd to have back seats in a van designed to sleep two people... but then the pop-up. This van makes everything else look antiquated to the point of basic. Fantastic video!
When all other youtubers would add some fancy music and voiceovers, you have been using real sounds in your videos thus I feel refreshed by the time I finish watching each of your videos. I really appreciate your work.

I lived the experience of this camper vicariously; feeling the pristine air rush by my face and the soft, perhaps virgin earth up on the mountain side, succumb softly beneath my feet. Gosh the experience was beautiful, so thank you! I also loved the solitude, savoring every minute of it; away and detached from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Momentarily jarred back to reality by a "what if" thought that crossed my mind. What if I thought to myself, this Van had been parked in the middle of downtown LA? 😳. Well I didn't allow this stray thought to penetrate my thoughts much longer, opting instead to return to the splendor of the amazing wonders of this world! I offered a silent prayer with Alhamdhulillah, that such pristine and glorious environments have remained unscathed by the human imprint and pray that they will remain unmolested for posterity! Greetings and best wishes from Sri Lanka!

Wow! The views and the van are amazing! You can practically smell the crisp alpine air. It was fun seeing you eat that breakfast. My Grandpa is German, and the only person I've ever known to drink a beer during breakfast. :). Beer is kind of a food group in our family. 😄

Guess my age is showing this used to be called caravanning not car camping. Camping was done with a tent. Usually involved hiking on foot to some location a car could not reach.
Very cozy. I know people do van life for various reasons, but some of these van builds are over-the-top. This would work for me. I would just need some hanging closet space because I work.

That camper van is perfection. I wish they sold those in the US, I'd get one in a heartbeat. I've got my Ford SUV set up pretty well for a night out, but that little VW has it all.

After having a Westfalia all my adult life in one of 2 forms, I can appreciate the “California “ Camper you had the pleasure of taking to the Alps… My last one was an ‘82 1.6L Diesel Westy that I converted to a 1.9L turbo industrial motor. That made all the difference, and I drove it till I could no longer drive it myself due to a medical issue. I tried to buy one like the one you had directly from the VW factory and ship home but VW said they no longer had that program. We never got the California camper here in the States, so I was out of luck. Anyway, I just stumbled upon your channel and I have to say I would have fought you for those Bockworsts, or Wiseworsts you were having for breakfast, damn you Germans don’t fool around when it comes to sausages, amongst other things.

Wow! The views and the van are amazing! You can practically smell the crisp alpine air. It was fun seeing you eat that breakfast. My Grandpa is German, and the only person I've ever known to drink a beer during breakfast. :). Beer is kind of a food group in our family. 😄

Guess my age is showing this used to be called caravanning not car camping. Camping was done with a tent. Usually involved hiking on foot to some location a car could not reach.
Very cozy. I know people do van life for various reasons, but some of these van builds are over-the-top. This would work for me. I would just need some hanging closet space because I work.
Not to mention the mesmerizing Alps....thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience.. hopefully will see them one day!

I love the interior decoration and all the space saving in this van compared to others.
That camper van is perfection. I wish they sold those in the US, I'd get one in a heartbeat. I've got my Ford SUV set up pretty well for a night out, but that little VW has it all.

I`m Swiss and its amazing to see you camping here. You`ve basically parked and camped in a no parking zone (red & blue sign ) 😅 be careful as penalties are expensive here !

After having a Westfalia all my adult life in one of 2 forms, I can appreciate the “California “ Camper you had the pleasure of taking to the Alps… My last one was an ‘82 1.6L Diesel Westy that I converted to a 1.9L turbo industrial motor. That made all the difference, and I drove it till I could no longer drive it myself due to a medical issue. I tried to buy one like the one you had directly from the VW factory and ship home but VW said they no longer had that program. We never got the California camper here in the States, so I was out of luck. Anyway, I just stumbled upon your channel and I have to say I would have fought you for those Bockworsts, or Wiseworsts you were having for breakfast, damn you Germans don’t fool around when it comes to sausages, amongst other things.
