Electronic Voice Phenomena is a method used by ghost hunters to capture a spirit/poltergeist/demons voice trough a recording device. Usually after series of questions the audio will be played back and analysed for paranormal evidence. Which sometime can be pretty conclusive!
An Electromagnet Field is a physical field produced by electrically charged objects which many ghost investigators believe paranormal entities give off. They can then use an EMF reader to communicate with the spirits by asking them to come into contact with the device.

I read a book that follows a soul after death... I'm mangling/paraphrasing, but, anyway, a man obsessed with work dies and isn't able to accept the reality of his situation. In the book our souls continue on as energy and because ideas are energy as well, he is able to conjure a fictional work environment around him and continue his daily life, because that was more comfortable to him than accepting death. That messed me up, because that's messed up! Talk about a personal hell! Working after I die? No thanks!Think about it: the entirety of our beings fight the idea of death to the point of insanity; we ignore the FACT we're going to die even up to the point of our deaths. Why would it be different after death? And to that point... who's to say I'm not doing just that right now? Can I trust my memories? Who's to say that my memories are not just a way of coping with the reality that I'm already dead?People who encounter ghosts are certain of their "corporeal-ness," but, perhaps you're right, maybe we're the ones who need to question reality and move on.

Some ghosts also attack us because some groups in an attempt to help whoever is living there, insult the spirits when they talk to them to get a response, and some even try to get rid of the spirits when they come around. It's why all investigators should let these spirits know they aren't there to harm them or to get rid of them. Twin Paranormal tells their spirits this and lets them know they aren't going to mistreat them and they've yet to have a place that's truly haunted NOT respond to them positively.

You know I was never completely sold on evp's until I actually captured one a little over a year and a half ago. My girlfriend said she heard something coming from nowhere and I got out my phone, started asking questions and actually got a response from nowhere. It sent chills down my spine when I heard that. It's for real super creepy!
Ghost Adventures cracks me up. They gel up their hair and don their Affliction gear and go hunting things that go bump in the night to show their bad-assery, but every time they get a response they flip the fuck out. As if they couldn't possibly have been expecting one, but if you believe enough to ask a question, why be surprised when you get one? Could you imagine having a conversation with someone like that? "What do you want for dinner?"

What gives me chills is that the EVPs in the Goldfield hotel were taken by Mark and Debbie Constantino, two of my heroes in the ghost hunting world. They died in my town, I was at school at the time. I can't believe they're gone.

i feel like the less people you have the more chances you have of finding authentic activity, ghost hunters had like 7 people investigating entire areas so they didnt really find much

Don't get me wrong. I would have run out of there, like I was on fire too.

I did 6 or so evp's , at a former tuberculosis hospital and a former mental asylum.
I asked the usual questions, like "Are there any spirits here?"
Well, after listening to the recordings later in the day, there was a very clear response, "Becky".
But it sounded just like my voice. I did not say Becky, and don't even know anyone named Becky.
This particular evp was recorded a few years ago at the Traverse City Asylum, built in 1885.
RFI-Crypto Lab I think Becky was a patient in the old Asylum, but she was killed by those nurses. If you don't believe me go back to the old Asylum and talk to that spirit name Becky.

yeah, and half of the episode is usually talking about the history of the place they're investigating, and the actual investigation of 8+ hours is cut down to 20 minutes
It's a corny girl YES! IKR? I get pissed when as soon as the activity jacks up... here comes the credits! I'm convinced they go to locations, ramp up the activity, then say "we gotta go", and leave the clients with possibly worse shit happening!
I'm a big fan of the paranormal, but Ghost Adventures' own Zak seems to be a douche to his team, never investigates alone, well he does, only when the guys are in the next room. And when he DOES, he "has a bad feeling" or something scary happens and automatically it's "Aaron get your ass in here!" I'd rather watch an hour of Aaron investigating, he seems the most professional, wanting to find out what's going on plus he must have the biggest balls, he gets spooked then rationalizes it then goes right back in to check it out... ALONE! I'll admit that show is my guilty pleasure, but I just wish they worked more as a team instead of "let's follow every command boss man Zak tells us to do." I would have told him to kick rocks a long time ago and take his affliction shirts that are 2x too small with him!
If you're getting more than a few minutes of "evidence" in an 8 hour span then you're faking shit...the history behind the location is part of what makes it the best paranormal series on the air!
@draculol unless you want to watch them just walking around and nothing happening...thats why they have to cut it down because they can only show what they captured. Its not like every 2 seconds something is happening to them while they're there, sometimes when they go somewhere only a hand full of things happen so thats all they can show.

Evps are fascinating!! I think they are not as researched as other paranormal 'happenings' but I think personally its the easiest way for spirits to use energy to communicate. I have done both normal evps and ghost box sessions and had some amazing and relevant replies. Great video.

I've deciphered the number 3 video evp's. The 1st one sounds like it's saying 'hey, It's...it's...aliveee.' or ' hey, it's..it's a lieee' The 2nd which sounds like a voice very much in despair is saying' I don't have much time hereee.' The GH team doesn't even mention what they think, and i haven't seen any comments on here talking about it either so i hope this helps! Let me know what you guys think!

I've had a theory that "ghosts" are just overlapping of parallel dimensions. They are actual people living their lives on the other side but to us they appear as ghosts. In other words in her dimension "the princess" is still alive but heard the voices of TAPs and couldn't see them, they appeared as ghosts to her. The same way "the princess" appeared as a ghost to the TAPS investigators.
I like the theory. You can actually notice everytime that she's asking back. "Hello. Is someone there?" "Of course I'm in here. Where are you?"

That legit reminds me of the twilight zone episode "Little Girl Lost" where she enters the 4th dimension and they can't see her just hear her. I think it's the 4th dimension that goes in some weird form where you can hear them and see them but you can't do anything back (we are in the 3rd dimension). So say that the person whose in the 4th dimension is in the Same place as the investigator and they ask are they with them. The people who captured the EVP's at the number one spot were named Mark and Debbie Constantino. In 2015, Debbie left Mark due to physical abuse on his end and he later snapped and murdered her and then committed suicide seconds later. Another eerie fact for this video.

Just picturing the ghost doing this is not only hilarious but very much weakens your credibility. Can you picture the ghost zipping back and forth. It has to move closer to answer yes, but it also must move away after answering yes or the device will continue to light up. I assume the ghost intuitively knows this? I at least got a good laugh out of the video.

headoverheels you cannot hear most ghost voices with the naked ear, the recorder picks it up. So asking the ghost to answer and move closer or further to get reading on TWO different machines... is reasonable.

I distinctly remember watching the original of the #2 clip when the "Ghost Hunters" actually talked to Caroline. Nothing is scary about it, but it was extremely interesting and it made such an impression on me that I remembered every detail of that incident.
I remember that the impression I got was that she was just as alive as the G.H. Investigators were, but just stuck in different time, or dimension. It seemed as if she was in the same room, occupying the same space but in a different dimension or time bcuz she seemed, or sounded quite normal, and just as surprised as they were in hearing someone they couldn't see.
I mean, what is death? Maybe it's just a continuation of physical existence, and the only change is a dimensional shift? I have heard a number of different EVPs say that they were living in a physical existence. But then, I've also heard many of them say they were trapped and needed help.
This phenomenon just raises more questions, the more we learn. One thing I find puzzling, and somewhat concerning, whenever EVPs are asked to describe what they actually look like, they flatly refuse. One EVP said, "we're not allowed to say." Not allowed by who, or by what?
Ahh I should really post some of my EVPs I've gotten over the years. The best one I've gotten was:

I had done EVP before and gotten results but they were always random words and that was the first time I had gotten actual responses, my friend does them all the time and there's always two voices one kind of high pitched but make and the one that told me to leave was deep almost growling
It's one thing to hear responses but when you hear one saying fuck you and to get out that's a whole other level.
My friend played one he did by himself and this was it

It shows! You should collaborate in your videos with some of your fans. I'd love to do one with you. I agree with the Ghost Hunters video in the Princess Room. I stayed there on holiday once. It's a creepy place. When I saw this evp episode originally, I thought it was fantastic. It's always stuck with me as one of the best. Plus, the Ghost Adventures video with the brick being thrown was the video that they used to get their show. It's been analysed over and over again. The experts can't figure out how it happened, so... I'm inclined to think it's real. They ran because... well... wouldn't you? Lol. You should check out their investigation of the Queen Mary. It is insane. In one part, they caught a woman on camera laughing. It was SO terrifying. Anyways, excuse me while I go turn all the lights on in my house and try to sleep after all these videos lol. I remember visiting a prison when I was 17, i was doing a night tour with 6 other people and was with my younger cousin. The entire place just had the worst vibes to it, there was a massacre in the same place a few years ago, at least 10 years before we visited. I can still remember it like it was yesterday, we were walking towards the part of the prison that held people with mental issues and it was damp and just in shocking conditions, the place is considered one of the most harsh and brutal prisons in Australian history, Port Arthur and it lived up to its name, as the group i was with began to walk towards the the final part of the tour i looked behind my self as i always check behind my back because of training and i saw a man standing and looking towards my direction through the window of a very old church, i told the people i was with including my family and was told it was most likely a security guard or tour guide from another tour. As we went further away from that church i noticed the person standing at the window had dissapeared and for some reason i had the sudden urge to empty my bladder, we were at least a kilometer from the nearest rest room and there was absolutely no light a part from the torch the guide was carrying, i was given the opportunity to relieve my self behind a tree as the tour slowly wondered through an old building long, long abandoned and very much in ruins, as I was doing my business i noticed that someone was walking towards me, i thought this was odd because i could see the tour group around 50 meters ahead of me, i went ahead and pulled up my zip on my jeans and rushed back towards the tour group and the entire time i was rushing because i felt like someone was watching me or something, when i got back to the group they were all acting very strange and whispering to each other, when i asked what was going on the guide told me that the youngest member of the tour needed to get back to the reception at the front of the Prison. I found out on the walk towards the front desk that the kid was having a panic induced asthma attack and that he saw a man in ripped up clothes lurking around an old tree! I don't know if that kid really saw the same thing i did but at that time i realized whatever it was he witnessed he would have been looking at the same tree i was using as a bit of privacy to urinate... I know I saw something at that window in the church but i later found out it had no second floor and had been a hollow ruin for many years. The thing i saw was on the second floor looking in my direction with a grey beard and i couldn't tell what else, that was an interesting experience either way, i would love to go back and record the place on camera..

Also, in response to the lack of film after Zak heard the child's voice, after they got out via the ire escape, they grabbed their equipment in the morning and relayed their footage to experts. Not too long after that, the documentary was released. After it went viral, a news group investigated the very same hotel with renowned EVP specialists Mark and Debbie Constantino, who frquently appear on Ghost Adventures. They, with a news group as witness, captured two very distinct and intelligent EVPs.
