I'd like to see you do something with older vehicles that use the halogen bulbs in the housings.

Got those modules and LEDs (with Lenses) already and YES, it was easy to set up and the animation was exactly what I was looking for, these are very bright and never get hot. Very stable system.

Very good video, I have subscribed to the sequential squad. I have been working on cars for 30 years and been messing with electronics my whole life. I have been wanting to do sequential turn signals on my M3 and thanks for sharing your knowledge with the world. I have taught many mechanics over the years but not an audience the size of yours.

This is cool stuff, can you imagine changing out all the lights and add some more LEDs but then all buttons, switches, dashboard, everything on the inside of a car and I've done that multiple times in different cars but the end result is also looking really cool.
I didn't have to animate the interior lights but changing the lights in those pesky buttons all over the place is very fiddly work and you can't do anything with your hands because you just can't put your fingers inside a button, and another thing to keep in mind is that you can't demolish the whole button to get the original light bulbs out, you have to do that in such a way that you can put it all together with the new LED and after you're done it still have to work for a long time without breaking that's the actual challenge but I always have a lot of fun doing it.
The best part of it is when you're finished and you can look at all the work you just put into it all making it look way better.
One thing that I loved is when I changed the dashboard light of my oldtimer VW Caddy, it had the original dials colored in some fluorescing orange and with my high powered blue LEDs those dials really popped out, just awesome.
When I finished working on that car, changed the complete car in about 7 months in a little garage at home cutting out all the rusted panels and structural parts that were totally rotten through, made all the new panels and structural parts from sheet metal and banged it all by hand into the right shape, welded the whole car together again, pulled out the fenders to make the wheel arches bigger for bigger wheels, lowered the suspension, pretty much everything from the ground up in about 7 months all by myself and I had it just two weeks finished and on the road again and got an offer that I couldn't refuse which is getting a VW Golf Mark 2 GTI Fire and Ice Edition with a brand new motor in it and completely done for free if I gave the guy my car so we just traded our cars that same day, I couldn't believe that he did that and that I scored an almost brand new car that I loved even more and didn't have to pay a penny for it.
Man, this video did bring me back to the good old times.

The application will be on the front splitter of 2014 Corvette. The issue is I don’t want them to be too visible when lights are off. I would like to use a black or dark diffuser to blend in with the carbon fiber. Do you have any suggestions for this set up? I’m sure you do so I hope to hear back from you, it would be great.

Hey there! Love the video. I am looking for a solution to put LED lighting on the OUTSIDE of my 17" Rims for my Jeep. Traditional LED strips are not flexible in the way I need.. which is to make them in a circle with the LEDs obviously facing outward. I am only using this for a Christmas Parade at very slow speed and would velcro them to my rims. I have a flat enough surface are 1" all the way around the rim to velcro. I would power them by 12V or 24V Lithium Battery / Holder that I can zip tie to my rim. Is there such a solution off the shelf or is it something that you can make?

What LEDs do you use? I was MINDBLOWN when you said addressable LEDs aren’t bright enough. The array I’m designing for my taillight is 140 WS2812 and that’s a solid 700 lumen at full brightness. Standard taillights are going to be closer to 400.
I think I would have been more concerned that if 1 burns out it will kill the rest. That’s why I switched to WS2813 which have a backup data line so you don’t kill the entire circuit with a break.

It depends on how many channels you want to have. The ghozt module has 28 channels individual channels. You could split the amount of LED’s you have into pairs and only use one module if you want. But if you have a lot of channels per light (like these GT-R taillights) you will have to use a module per light.

Iam so doped just hearing how dope you are so doped I had to find another channel to keep from me over doping on this over used high-school verbiage. It just takes the possible professional minded person wanting to get this information without the return to middle school again. I know your trying to show out for the age group these cars have driving them but if you think about this take this episode right and a link to watch this one here I bet they won't return or move on in frustration due to the cloud of immature like commentary. Think who's forking over the money or is going to try this not many 18 year Olds the educated well structured professional will stop the video and not return. I am not saying I have the answers I do have a very high interest in what you are showing but my friend I actually became aggregated the more I tried to see past it but it took my train of though completely away and at this point don't care to make this for my own car. Take it to the next level lose the kid like way of presenting this and I would be forced to tell my friends and clients to check out your videos give more structure on the visual showing the connections with cad drawn diagrams drop the filler words still have the laughs and you will sky rocket past anyone in your way. I'll check back throw me a message maybe allow me to speak of some ideas but always put yourself in the viewer's chair this is aggravating enough to have it work lose the clutter and have shit lined up with purpose in the video showing a 2 sec clip of a controller wired up and not going more in depth will cause another stop and look for another channel. My friend you have the tools this shit isn't a walk in the park I'm impressed what you did I know I couldn't figure it out make that 10 years of work you put into figuring this out to set you free . Good luck . I see great shit coming your way don't ruin it with this way of showing your skill at a lower pay grade hit me up let's talk. I had 2 major brain surges and I am 45 and now in hospice long story but one day I'm doing covert operations and the next without warning I'm about to die at 45 years old so I hope I made some sense in what I wrote it's easier to say it . I've lost my ability to read write and add I had to talk to text this s I hope it isn't filled with totally jacked up words can't check my texting can't read believe that shit all because I inhaled a dust spore on a job site and it's 7 years and I have a few months and that's it. If we don't speak I wish your channel the best but you really have something here if I sat here a went through he'll sending this it means something and I want to see more without the fluff . Take care nothing but good things here .

You do know that if the lighting on your vehicle is modified from DOT specs, your running illegal. If while running Illegal, you get into an accident, your automatically at fault... as in, you shouldn't have been on the road in the first place. Plus, you shouldn't modify lighting to distract other drivers. You could also be liable if your customers get into an accident.
