Seawych Rigging

This video clip shows how I have rigged my boat, and also brushes over the splicing, whipping and knots that I use. I cover a few topics that have been requested recently.
Filmed during a trip out, but was not enough wind to sail and too hot to do anything else! Twas only meant to be 20 minutes long but unable to heavily edit.

Hi Jason, excellent video, I was going to do some videos like this, but you beat me to it!
My boat is adapted for slab reefing (sort of), but like your set up for lines back to the cockpit, which I'll probably copy over the winter.

Thanks jonathan. Please make and upload videos of what you do, I’m sure there’s information that many of us won’t know or realise. I, for one, have never slab reefed and keen to see how a Seawych is rigged for that. Using a whisker pole on the Genoa is another thing I d love to know- please share if you have the knowledge!

@jasonjoyce4487 hi Jason, I do know how to use a whisker pole, but don't have one for my boat yet, so haven't tried it.
May do some videos when I have time over the winter.

I’m not sure how to rig the whisker pole? I have a line already on the mast for it, but really can’t work out how to set it up. I’ve also got a spinnaker and pole, but I’m just not brave to fly it even if I knew how haha
