New sub. Forget all the haters brother. The people that have never tried to start a UA-cam channel have no clue the difficulty getting these off the ground and monetized.
Where I live there are some big ponds I wouldn’t call it a lake by no means but the coontail grows pretty close to the surface on a large part of the pond, but do the bass stay down in that thick grass or is the pond getting choked out from to much grass
@@AndrewUpshawFishing ive been out a few times this past week. glad to finally get some rain, the ponds were really hurting badly and most of the big girls died off. still a few around, but few and far between. knock em dead man
I don't know why, but I watch all worm fishing vids. It was the first thing I caught bass on and I still get that feeling. Straight tails catch but don't recall that feeling. It's my age
Thx Andrew for another good video. Question, is there a big difference in fishing 8,9, 10 inch ribbon tail worm texas rigged versus using a shakey head texas rigged in grass and not in grass. Im new to trying a shakey head, but i just bought a few.
Nice vid thanks for the tips once again Andrew, I'm fishing in the morning there's alot of trees there do you have any suggestions, I usually use frog baits, buzz baits and senkos Thanks
@@AndrewUpshawFishing also I fish a high pressured lake, (lake success in porteville) and I'm sure most people are using frog baits to, any advise ? I'll tell you that back in the 70's I was using a floating worm on a split shot and I had made a cast and the split shot was gone so I just started reeling in and to my amazement there was a fin sticking out the water chasing my top water worm stopped it and I caught over 10 bass over 3lbs that day and this was a very pressured lake in Los Angeles called legg lake. Tight lines my friend👌
Man, your camera guy sounds just like Hallman. Haha! Good stuff man. When is part 2 1/2 or part 3 of the Oklahoma vs Texas showdown happening? Or has it been canceled due to the tournaments starting back up?
Good video!! Yep,,,you told too much. Swimming a plum colored worm,,is not a good fish catching method.........................it's a great one. And the red bug or red shad are a favorite of mine also.
Your channel is good, keep them coming ,thanks!
Great videos brother, I support you 100%.
Thanks Wayne!

The 8 inch bull worm is one of my favorites with a 3/16th. It's a killer here in Indiana.
Heck yea!

Great video Andrew! I love throwing a big ribbon tail!
No doubt!
Who is the best shallow water angler elite
You know there are many music videos I watch on UA-cam when I click on a fishing vid I don't want to hear music.
👍

So when do you use the plum blue vs the red green color? Just green for grass?
I mix it up to see which they bite better. Each year seems to be different.
Thank you sir.
Gunna have to try that ribbontail it looks good,I love throwing the big worm probably my favorite Texas rig bait
Couldn’t agree more!
Great vid, gonna have to try that next time I’m out on Rayburn
Hope it works for you!
You guys can have those straight shank worm hooks!! Lololol! Lost 2, 5+ Bass today on Chickamauga. Switched back to my EWG and crushed em!
Hallman is the same way!

There is no bite better than a worm bite!

I prefer a Texas rig in grass. Out deep both work really well, but honestly prefer the shaky head.

Thanks
I really like a KVD Splash Popper fishes around cover. You can fish it slow and walk it in place. Very deadly early in the morning.

I know🤷♂️ one of my favorite ways to catch them. And those colors are money!
Do u fish it pegged or not w your tungsten 1/8 oz weight?
Always unpegged around grass
Thx 4this gr8 teaching vid...
Great video but loose the back ground music. Kind of hard to listen with that repeatedly playing in back lol
Thanks for watching. Still learning, I’ll do better.
