- The German parliament is preparing to debate the crucial next steps in its military support for Ukraine after nearly two years of war. A conflict that has completely reshaped its own security policy. Long-range missiles for Kyiv is one of the specific topics up for discussion today. And after billions have been pumped into defense spending already, many see this as a watershed moment for how Germany's armed forces will look for decades to come. Ukraine's counter-offensive against Russia hasn't gone to plan. Does Ukraine need to show some progress on the battlefield if it wants to continue relying on German support?

Why building an artillery factory over ground? One rocket - that’s it. In WW2 they were at least so smart and built artillery factories in deep underground bunkers or disused mines.

Russia stated the aim Demillitirazation of Ukraine. Russian strategy= attrition= reduces the number of men and equipment to total exhaustion; the one who has more manpower and can produce more equipment will eventually win. Ukraine's strategy = sending men again and again to the same location and finally losing the location. it doesnt work that way, a lot of these equipment require long term training, like the jets, or the costly fuel of some of the us tanks, so lets say alll this was given even before putin invaded and before he took crimea in 2014 which lead to all of this, then he would have said look ukraine is being armed, he must invade.. it would have been used as an excuse,, tho here we all see its not the case and that ukraine could not even take crimea back in 2014, they were never a threat to rus.
at least ukraine now still has a country and just needs to re evalue its goals, to save itself by arming protecting why they have or to attempt to retake back territory and lose it all in the process..

I just saw the size of the new Rheinmetall production line, in size and determination not far away from 5000 helmets. In Germany are more than one million Ukrainians who are willing to work in that production line. So why don't enlarge the size 10 fold or 20 fold.
And remember that Russia is making 4 million pieces of artillery a year. 200,000 is nothing.

One thing to note. How many would Germany be willing to send and how does it factor into its own stores? If Germany was to be pulled into a full high intensity conflict they would deplete their reserves really fast.
