Me and By Kaja are here to bring you 9 things we wish we knew before moving to China! Hope you guys find them useful or interesting hehe. We can’t wait to go back! ♥️
Omg i didn’t know that! The golden treatment 😂 i remember hanging out with the international exchange students from the other campus and they would say meet us at 10pm and i couldn’t go cos it was bed time😂😂
Be your 保安‘s,friend is the best tip ever. The only reason I got let back into my apartment during the pandemic after being banned (and all hotels had banned foreigners) was because me and my 保安 were basically besties. Always greet him with a big “你吃了没有?!”
loved this video!! so much good info!! i’m also chinese but born in canada so it’s nice to hear about other chinese ppl born outside of china’s experiences ~
When i have lived in China it was easy, why? Because my wife is Chinese. So she bought the tickets, got the hotel. Need passport to stay in hotel, but just going around on walkin, or city bus, i never carried my passport. I never even registered with police, wife said no have to. I think China is exciting.
Awesome video! I've booked a flight for Shanghai for early April, but I'm still not certain which city I'll be working in (agency is finding the job 2 weeks before the flight). Are there any country-wide expat groups on Wechat? If anybody can invite, would be cool =) I hope I stay in Shanghai though. Told the agency I'd prefer to
hi jordan! thanks so much for watching and how exciting! I'm not sure about country-wide expat groups but a lot of the expats will have experience in 2 or 3 of the major cities, so you can always ask in the individual city expat groups what their thoughts are! :)
@@jennyjzhou Hi Jenny. Thank you for your reply. Yeah, I love your videos, hope you keep making them. You're funny :p (No, Tommy, not like a clown, ¡Cálmate kudasai) Thanks for the tip! I guess I'll figure it out once I'm there. From what I understood, you're currently in the zoo down under? If you ever do one of those get-togethers with fans when you're back to Shanghai, let me know! =) Oh, and looking forward to that video about china's movie industry that you mentioned some place or another that you'll be recording/posting soon!
@@hannesRSA I don't have enough information to say that's not true,, but her English is pretty good. Regardless whether or not she's from a rich family, I can tell she's probably spent enough time in Aussie which makes her qualify enough to represent that country.

Jenny waifu😳
You have a Chinese last name. I assume your parents moved to Aussie so you were able to live there. I realize you don't have typical Aussie accent.
