Owned 5 s550 mustangs and now a s650 owner. The s650 is absolutely amazing. I hated it at first but once you drive the s650, it’s nothing but love. Ppl talk trash bc of tuning, I get the argument, but the stock tune on the 24 is WAY better than it ever has been before. Ford did a great job.
Hell yea. Lot of ppl just running low boost with stock tune. Looks good enough for me! Even with my mustang as is….i just cruise 99% of the time….all that hp I just wanna go back to stock😂
@@dtingle5576 I have question when shifting down to drive, do you accidentally shift into manual sometimes? Cause I’m use to driving car where the manual mode is to the left of drive.
Picked up my s650 last wk from Confidence Ford in OK. I bought it in Dark matter grey metallic w the bronze package. Have these exact options w the active exhaust. Out the door I got it her for 57.2 before taxes. Even came w a 7 yr ceramic coat and life time window tinting warranty. I love this car
Perfect video, You are making my point....$60,000 for a performance package Mustang and it doesn't come with active exhaust,2 tiny exhaust tips, SMH.....IL be trading in my GT soon for a cheap daily driver and buying a vette.... Ford is making it easy to leave the Mustang scene...
@651MYGarage don't get me wrong I love my Mustang, looking around for a 24' I can't even find black ,premium, 10-speed with the 20 inch wheels and the quad tip exhaust , it seem to not even exist up here in Connecticut.... that's not really anything too fancy that's basic stuff and apparently it can't be found
@@SHADOWBLACKs650You’re right. Sadly I don’t think ford offers 20 inch wheels for their new mustang. That’s a shame. It would look much better. If Chevy can do it with their Camaro ford should offer it on the mustang.
I was considering a LT1 C8 but I was viewing many of the videos on corvette owners having issues with the transmission early into their ownership of the vehicle. Another disappointment.
The S650 is growing on me. The color combo and spec you looked at is very cool. It needs active exhaust to get the quad tips though. The dash is what’s holding me back. I like actual gauges.
I can tell you now, I'm not peeping any S650 UA-cam videos. Also all the Gen 2 and 3' have functional hood vents, here in America. Only option for upgrades is a factory whipple with their Safe can tune for the moment. Nothing like the car you got now. If you buying this car for content and progression of build. Good luck my friend.
@@651MYGarage MP CONCEPTS , makes a pair of vents that are way more exaggerated in size than stock. Still have stock appearance just way wider and longer. No restrictions by weatherstripping. Just see-through mesh. I Should have bought them when they were $80 now they're like $150.
A 1990 mustang gt (ajusted for inflation) was just under 37,000 $. You could get a lx 5.0 cheaper(and lighter) for a little cheaper. Yes i remember when stangs where affordable.
True but there is much more to new vehicles. As consumers, we’ve gotten spoiled on what we want as a base model. What was once options have to be standard so the price keeps rising.
car pricing is out of control altogether. i priced a dark horse how i wanted it and it came in more than my zl1. sorry, thats out of line. yes, i get its nice inside with tons of toys but im about power to cost. can you even get discounts on mustangs right now ?

I've had my 2024 S650 Premium w/ active exhaust black on black with the nite pony package and absolutely love it!

They will eventually unlock the ECU to tune. It was the same for the c8. No need to worry but for now I'm loving the s650 stock

That same package with active exhaust is almost 62k MRSP. They are getting pricey.

I like them but I just don’t have 60k to drop on the option. With current interest rates, around 1,000 a month. Just not economically sound.

I like the 650 but wow prices are up. I got my 2015 S550 GT fully loaded premium in the 40k price range new.
Yep my 2020 premium 401a gt was 40k lol. Lightly 1000 miles used
Supposedly the dark horse has forged internals. Will be interesting to see if it can handle more power boosted on e85.
I think the 24 is a awesome car when you can tune it it's going to be a truly amazing kick in the butt with boost

I recommend you go look at the saleen mustang they start at 510 hp and up to over 800
Saleen is garbage mostly cosmetic upgrades, I'd consider a Roush stage 3 supercharged S550.

Discounts…nope but I think they’re dropped the price on the mustangs here by $5k off MSRP.
