When teal’c said “to the stargate” that was a mistake. He would have said the chapa eye as they is what the gods called it. Stargate was an earth term.
Not necessarily "stargate" was in the ancient inscription on the cover stone translated by Daniel Jackson (Original movie) so maybe that term was already in use I think the term Chappa'ai only came into use later on.
This scene is cut differently from what I remember. Theres a few scenes that add a lot such as when O'neill sees Teal'c slightly shake his head when Jackson asks if anything of the host remains or when Teal'c and O'neill make eye contact when the latter is asking for his help. Also when Oneill asks Teal'c for help he says it twice which fiils up that weird vocal gap at 1:22 where the camera angle looks terrible. Some of Teal'c dialogue is timed wrong to, I'd recommend watching this clip on SGC's youtube because this version is inferior.
This is the editor's cut where they cut a bunch of stuff, added some, and they re-dubbed Tealc's voice since he said his voice had evolved throughout the show. Some of the editing was good but I agree they also cut a lot of important stuff too. I prefer the original.

The other Jaffa are so confusing. Why are they shooting the people in the jail? Surely the priority is to kill Jack, and maybe Teal'c. If they're killing the prisoners first because Apophis said to do it, then why did they wait during Teal's conversation with Jack? Brilliant scene though, doesn't take anything away from it.
