i wonder what this show would be like with modern technology. a super technologized SGC, Daniel as Director and linguist, Sam in the engineering area, Tealc as an ambassador and Jack (as RDA probably won't fully return) as Director of Homeworld security, and a totally new team that has the adventures.
First time I have seen this about a show I looked forward to every week. No matter how bad my week was I knew I had this show to live vicariously through as part of SG1. Great to see the personality contrasts between the character they play and the persona demonstrated here. For a few moments it took me back in time.
Ok I know it’s been 8 years but I was really surprised no one commented on the fact Amanda got a concussion during that stunt! Can’t believe I’d never heard about this wow.
I haven't heard of it either and it is so sad. Concussions are nasty injuries because the least of your problems is blacking out. There's always some brain damage in the aftermath. It's sad that Amanda had to endure that because I simply can't believe that there wasn't a safety guy who'd say "when Jay pulls you go into a ball". In infant pose or "ball" your back will take the bump but your head probably won't get hurt.
@@ClericOfApocalypsewhat brain damage? Concussion is not stroke or inflammation or tissue death/disappearance. I mean, it’s not healthy to have it, but it’s temporary.
this video is perfect for someone like me who just finshed stargate -SG1 series and wants to see behind the scenes and say : awwwww i wil miss this shoooowww
You mean when they "trained" for more than an hour till Sam stopped them? XD Or when Teal'c had the chance to fire Ronons gun on a Wraith and says: "I whould like to have a weapon like this..." as he returns it and Ronon answers: "Yeah? Get in line." Ah, i LOVE that episode of Atlantis!
Just imagine that a big guy like Chris comes to school for picking up his kids in "full Teal'c"! He appears in the classroom in his plate-chainmail armor and the mark of Apophis on his forehead. I think people would run scared. 😃
So this is like 1998? End of first season start or second? Amazing stuff. Look how jovial and small Chris is lol. By the end he seemed more serious or something. I like this Chris. Feels both a short time ago and a long time ago. 1998 was almost 18 years ago now. WOW. Miss it all..the show, the times, the people and things now gone and my younger self haha. Great fun times back then.
I think sg1 was part of Sci Fridays on Showtime when it first came on. It was followed or preceded by Total Recall the series and Poltergeist the series.
I love the momend when Ronon is pointing this out in SG Atlantis. XD Ronon: "You say that a lot." Teal'c: "What?" Ronon: "Indeed." Teal'c: "Do i?" Ronon: "Yeah." Teal'c: "I havent noticed..."
3:16 That table is actually quite common and there is another version made by same company who have surrounded the entire outside edge with rubber so you can put your elbows there when in a deep meeting and sitting there for hours on end. My company uses that table and it is great!
I remember watching this together with my mom back kn the day! Had never seen it since. Thanks uploading this! Reminds me of looking forward to Friday nights, pizza, and Stargate with mom. Good memories. 😊
I wonder if this set is still together at all. I hope they preserved the gate! This is a part of the Season 1 extras, at least according to a torrent I have that had this vid in the season 1 directory.
Stuff that’s not too specific, furniture, cloths, the more normal weaponry etc, usually goes into the stock of the studios to use in other productions. I like to think, that we‘ve probably seen bits and pieces in other shows over the years without even noticing. And if the studios still exist, we most probably have seen the sound stages again. Totally remodeled but still the same space. I always like the idea, that not everything of a beloved show is gone for good when the show ends but somehow stays around.
So strange hearing Tealc talk as a human lol, if I ever met Christopher I'd actually expect him to act more like his character Tealc I actually would. That's how powerful the subconscious can be 😂
I agree! His voice and actions make him appear Gay in this video- compared to the ultra-serious character he portrays. Incredible actor and voice, on par with James Earl Jones.
I'm guessing all those years of playing the deep, smooth sounding Teal'c permanently changed his voice for the better. He sounds entirely different here as himself. Higher pitched voice.
This is when they were young, unknown, and still humble. Gen Hammond has passed away, RDA is disabled, Judge is VO for Video games, and Taping has become an angry feminist workaholic
Hi :) Such a great show, love it since I was 11, and still watching it from time to time. Is there any way to get this "behind the scenes" special edition in a better quality? Thanks in advance, and for uploading this!
I was always amazed at the production quality on this show, even as a kid watching it on TV. Seeing all the practical effects and real props. Even the CGI of the gate still holds up today, since it’s stylized, and not comparable to anything real. Just comparing it to the CGI vomit of modern TV, is just sad.
So many time you want to know how the magician did the trick. And then you think, I don't want to spoil the mystery. I have a love/hate relationship with these "behind the scenes" shows. As a note, I remember watching and loving the original movie when it first came out in the theatre.
"Hi. My name is Teal'c, and i play Christopher Judge in real life"
Classic!!!! The casting for this show is perfect!!
I felt bad that he had so much character....that he rarely got to use.
I wanted to make this comment, 3 years too late
God damn it. Only 3 and half years too late
@@harryoates91 probably
I admit, that got me to happily chuckle out loud. I’m so fond of these people.
I would go back in time just to watch SG-1 for the first time again.
If you went back in time, you would still remember already seeing it...
You'd have to pay. it was on Showtime back then.
fool. You need to send a dvd player tv and the dvd set to your younger self, with instructions where to invest money in.
I would Go back in time to work on this amazing show.
he's so macho and strong is Teal'c but as Christopher Judge he's like a huge teddy bear xD
Paradox Master 1819 Indeed.
Here's a secret...most big people are teddy bears
Cant forget he voice the god of war
This guy is my #1 of Stargate
When you're big, you have to act meek or people will be afraid of you.
anybody blown away at how seemlessly Don transitioned into General Hammond.
StellWair he really lived that role. He was so awesome
StellWair He played that roll very convincingly, what a pro he was.
He was a U.S. Army captain in real life. It's not the same as a general, of course, but I'm sure it contributed.
He speaks like that. Sounds like that in everything he's been in.
Christopher is such a personable, approachable and funny fellow. 😂
The best Sci-fi series ever made. Absolutely perfect. It's the perfect combination of the perfect everything.
I agree, but Firefly was very close second. Only needed more seasons.
I agree!
This show is better than StarTrek and Trekkies just can’t handle that fact 😂 💯
To see Teal'c grin...heck, to hear him say "heck."
He was such a darling when he was with his make up person.
i wonder what this show would be like with modern technology. a super technologized SGC, Daniel as Director and linguist, Sam in the engineering area, Tealc as an ambassador and Jack (as RDA probably won't fully return) as Director of Homeworld security, and a totally new team that has the adventures.

Legendary series

WOW, RIP DON S DAVIS, SUCH GRACE AND RESOLVE
Jhony S General Hammond was my favorite character on SG-1.
And God Speed
I grew up watching this show, haven't watched it in a year or two, I think it's time for a re re re re re re re re rewatch!
4:05 Love that background music in the office.
It was really great when Teal'c met Ronon in Stargate Atlantis.
Yea,that was epic.Boys will be boys. :)
You mean when they "trained" for more than an hour till Sam stopped them? XD Or when Teal'c had the chance to fire Ronons gun on a Wraith and says: "I whould like to have a weapon like this..." as he returns it and Ronon answers: "Yeah? Get in line."
Ah, i LOVE that episode of Atlantis!
After getting trained on this show he became Aquaman!
Teal'c laughing and joking... my whole life is a LIE! :p
Did you never see the scene where Teal'c tells that GoaUld joke? There he is laughing in character! Thats even more funny. XD
He makes jokes a bunch of times in the series, but only once does he laugh out loud.
Great show I'm addicted to it !!!
You are all part of something beautiful in many of our lifes. We can only thank you and all crew that made Stargate possible. Best regards
Teal'c without the Apophis mark looks so wrong.
Teal'c had to take them off to play Christopher Judge. What a fine actor that Teal'c. He looked so natural as a human.
Just imagine that a big guy like Chris comes to school for picking up his kids in "full Teal'c"! He appears in the classroom in his plate-chainmail armor and the mark of Apophis on his forehead. I think people would run scared. 😃
What an amazingly flawless cast. They complement each other so so so so well.
R.I.P Don S. Davis

This show aged amazingly for late 90s early 2000s
I think sg1 was part of Sci Fridays on Showtime when it first came on. It was followed or preceded by Total Recall the series and Poltergeist the series.
I think it's a bit late, but the on-location filming is for season 2's Gamekeeper
Amanda is so cute.
Great show, and great job by teal'c. Hes definitely a well spoken and likable guy.
Its incredible that they had a layered set like that!
those were the days...
for real
RIP Don . S Davis
Josh Dugan
WHat oO? when?
Stona Raptor Years ago now , I even recall Carter making reference to it on the show and that they named one of the new starships the hammond.
Stona Raptor Indeed! wasn't even that awful long ago, but it feels like it was. God damn it.. I love SG1.. wish it never ended.
Man if Teal'c met Christopher Judge.....
+sumbuddyx they're the same person. You're blowing my mind right now.
+KiLLED5639 I think he's talking about how difficult Chris Judge is in real life compared to the character he played.
His affection for the makeup gal is great
Could never get enough of SG-1. They all did a great job of making this show work.
you gotta love Teal'c. What a funny guy
My Favorite show of all time. What great characters.
I have the complete set and currently watching it again.
Love it! Love it! Love it! My favourite sci-fi programme OF ALL TIME!
He says "actually" in real life almost as often as he says "indeed" in the movie
I love the momend when Ronon is pointing this out in SG Atlantis. XD
Ronon: "You say that a lot."
Teal'c: "What?"
Ronon: "Indeed."
Teal'c: "Do i?"
Ronon: "Yeah."
Teal'c: "I havent noticed..."
I love the practical effects of the show. Apparently, the Zats didn't get the amount of practicality that a Staff did, though.
3:16 That table is actually quite common and there is another version made by same company who have surrounded the entire outside edge with rubber so you can put your elbows there when in a deep meeting and sitting there for hours on end.
My company uses that table and it is great!
Seems to me Michael Shanks is still in character. :)
Love this show. from Kurt Russell to Atlantis. So cool.
Your fantastic Chris, you have always been my favorite character since I was a very young boy. Teal'c forever
How is he so happy ♥ I love Christopher Judge so much
I cant remember when i enjoyed in YT video like this
8:00 God I love Michael Shanks
It's so weird hearing him talk like a normal human I love it
Seing Teal'c being so full of life and emotions.. is weird
Seeing Teal'c without the symbol on his forehead was Weird
I really miss this show
Good content,
Made me truly happy,
Started to show to my wife.
And look forward to seeing it with my son...
best tv show i love Amanda (sam )

@Madison D except for the bits cast and crew managed to walk a way with ... yup
Stuff that’s not too specific, furniture, cloths, the more normal weaponry etc, usually goes into the stock of the studios to use in other productions. Thanks so much for this. What a great chemistry the cast had to make it an awesome show.
"The Stargate, exciting and new!" Lolz.
I joined the air force when i turned 18 around season 8 of this show.
Wow this is from 1998, good times!
For those whp remember, this is Murray from Mozambique
Amanda is a striking beuty and good actress
yeah she is a cute thespian
I miss this show!!
This is so sweet.
We are reaching MAXIMUM levels of wholesome here
God I miss the SG movies, I really wish Amazon would get off its backside and start another Star Gate movie or series...
That's it.. i'm watching it again.
I'm guessing all those years of playing the deep, smooth sounding Teal'c permanently changed his voice for the better. He sounds entirely different here as himself. Higher pitched voice.
Thanks for the tour😊
Best sci-fi tv show ❤
That is just cool AF! Love seeing stuff like this. What an awesome cast and crew that brought such a magical and timeless show to life 🥰😊
Thanks.
Can i take your order please?
Wow, I didn’t know General Hammond also played Don S Davis in real life. Very cool.
R.i.p Don!
Every time he says actually...take a shot.
omg, im so wasted .. LOL
This is like a wake up dream
RIP Don S
4:50 - He is the very model of a modern Major General ... George S. Hammond, just awesome! :)
One of my favorite episodes of SG1 was an episode that Judge actually wrote.
It was the one where Teal'c dreamed he was a firefighter.
He says 'actually' a hell of a lot!!
This is when they were young, unknown, and still humble. Gen Hammond has passed away, RDA is disabled, Judge is VO for Video games, and Taping has become an angry feminist workaholic
Hi :)
Such a great show, love it since I was 11, and still watching it from time to time. Is there any way to get this "behind the scenes" special edition in a better quality?
Thanks in advance, and for uploading this!
Gen. Hammond seems to always be in character
Even in real life Siler gets hurt.
such an amazing set
"Hi. My name is Teal'c and this is 240p video that you will never see properly"
thanks for this wonderful video
8:04 Michael Shanks looks really lost... XD
He looks to be really pissed off
Hammonds chair is actually pretty comfortable....
12:02 cameraman doing god's work
4:11 Hammond of Texas, rest well, you duty is done,
Awesome, thank you for uploading this
I adore this
Take a drink every-time T say “actually
He was perfect to do this bts video 😂
Stargate is up there with Trek and star wars
Teal'c will be always Teal'c for me....
I was always amazed at the production quality on this show, even as a kid watching it on TV.
Seeing all the practical effects and real props. Even the CGI of the gate still holds up today, since it’s stylized, and not comparable to anything real.
Just comparing it to the CGI vomit of modern TV, is just sad.
ok now i was wondering can chris be any cooler than tealc in sg show
now i know that he can
he is so cool and so funny
it's cool how the sgc kind of just exists even tho it's a set
So many time you want to know how the magician did the trick. And then you think, I don't want to spoil the mystery. I have a love/hate relationship with these "behind the scenes" shows. As a note, I remember watching and loving the original movie when it first came out in the theatre.
Fun to watch 😊
The quality of image and audio couldn't be worse.
Ricardo 73 Wanna bet?
I mean it’s not that bad considering it would’ve been filmed before 2000
Don Davis Hammond of Texas, when Texas was still great.
Amanda seems soo sweet
